excellent book for every Christian parent
Its the best book on childrearing. I could use this as a text book

very helpful and practical.

Highly damaging methods of parenting. Abusive on so many levels.
Tedd Tripp in his DVD series accepts that he himself has not used these methods of parenting. All through the book there are wrong interpretation of verses picked out of context and gets spiritually abusive stating if you do not follow his methods, you are "sinning". Highly punitive and advocates child abuse. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! not even to pick out just the good in it. Its a cult and a dangerous one. There are two other great Christian alternatives to this - "heartfelt discipline" by 'Clay Clarkson' and "Jesus the Gentle Parent" by 'L.R.Knost' both these are time tested, effective, practical and gentle. Other practical books will be "whispers through time " by L.R.Knost and "Whole Brain Child", "Positive parenting" by Rebecca Eanes.
