Professional Results Without the Learning Curve
The Work Sharp MK2 is hands down one of the best sharpening systems I’ve used. It’s simple, consistent, and delivers razor-sharp edges fast. The adjustable speed and angle guides make it easy to get professional results without guesswork. I’ve used it on pocket knives, kitchen knives, and even tougher steels, and it handles everything smoothly. The motor is strong but controlled, and the build quality feels solid and durable. For the price, the performance is outstanding. If you want sharp blades without spending hours learning complicated techniques, this is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.

Great tool, works as advertised - but a couple of cautions.
Works as advertised. Easy to set-up and use. Works great. This actually my second one. The first one I got somewhere else, and loved it. But it met with an unfortunate accident of having loaned it out to a relative who lost it when doing 'spring cleaning' at home, and realized too late it was tossed out in a bunch of other stuff by moms little helpers but not before the weekly trash pick-up. I would caution though: 1. You should also order extra belts. Belt life varies with the quality-hardness of steel and frequency of belt use. A harder steel is going to make belt life shorter so you might get maybe 3 - 6 sharpening session per belt if the knife is not too dull, where a softer steel you might get 7 - 10 sharpening sessions per belt - and both of these also depend on frequency of sharpening and how dull the blade was before you sharpened. If you are sharpening and it takes longer to form a burr or no burr forms but the knife seems kinda sharp, then you need a new belt. 2. Make sure the surface you do it on is not used for food/drink preparation, and if it is then make sure its cleaned after sharpening is done. There are very fine 'aluminum oxide' particles released as the blade is drawn across the belt. You do not want this in your food or drink. Also make sure you wash your hands when done to remove any of this, you do not want this to get into your eyes. The 'aluminum oxide' particles are very fine and the amount released is small, but it can irritate the eyes, nose, and throat, and repeated exposure to high levels of its dust may lead to serious lung conditions like pulmonary fibrosis (note: this is not considered 'high level' but you still want to take precautions). Its recommended you wear some gloves and eye protection and a mask is not a bad idea at all - but to be fair, unless you get your face right down at the tool you probably will not have an eye or inhalation problem, but better safe than sorry. Fortunately, the 'aluminum oxide' particles are heavy enough that they do not go airborne very much and stay mostly on the surface of where the sharpener is being used and on the sharpener its self. All similar sharpeners are like this, its just the nature of the way the belts have to be made.

Easy to use. And gets um sharp
Easy to use, works well sharpening hunting and survival knives. But it's also great to get a rundown of Hatchet or an ax to the point where you can file or polish to a great finish. I know maybe not the old stone or diamond way, but for me getting the correct angle on a stone was a problem. This takes the guesswork out,if you want to stone or diamond the finish the tool gets you to that point. Order extra bands, jumps to have around.. I'm not sure how long the edge will last as it is a new tool for me.

Easy and safe to use
Great little sharpener. It is not as loud as I thought. Very easy to use. It is smaller than I thought but it is the perfect size. The angle adjustment is easy and I mostly use the 20 degree. It is very stable and safe. I feel I have full control. Comes with two sets of belts. It produces very fine metal dust so I will use a mask and glasses. I am very happy with the performance. I can highly recommend. Good value

If you can afford the ken onion buy it
With a low grit, you can do heavy grinding / sanding,. I've had the workshop mark 2 for over 2 years now. And I can say the only real downfall when it comes to sanding or grinding is the surface area is too small. With a low grit, when it comes to sharpening regular knives, perfet, it takes a little bit of skill to get a really nice edge on swords machetes etc. But if you're looking for general purpose sharpness, the guides work fine. Overall, this is a great product. If you are looking for something more exact in terms of angles, I would go with theken onion edition.

Seems to work well
This tool is easy to use. I've sharpened my chef's knife, pocket knives, and fillet knives. They all seem to be much sharper than before. The angle guide makes it easy to sharpen at the correct angle.

I've tried all kinds of knife sharpening tools in my life, but this one is a complete game-changer. It got all my dull knives razor-sharp in minutes, whereas previously it would take hours. I like my knives sharp, but I don't have time to sharpen them every time they lose their edge. This tool now allows me to bring my knife back to life in under two minutes, and that's including taking it out of the box and plugging it into the socket.

Let me get the negative out the way, Amazon state this is 110v it isn’t it’s 230v 50hz eu standard. Now this didn’t harm me I’m just glad I read some of the comments where 1 individual stated it was 230v and was the sole reason I bought it as I live in the UK. Now to what should have been the only thing I was going to type this tool is absolutely awesome it does exactly what it should I have no prior experience with this tool or anything like it the instructions are easy to follow and precise and my knifes are now razor sharp if you have been pondering just buy it.

The company's Youtube channel has a great tutorial video that makes this product less intimidating to use for the first time. Great compact design. Quiet. Quick process. Multiple grades of sand belts included, which were easy to switch out. Bilateral blade guide for easy use. Most importantly, great results - exceptionally sharp blades. Highly recommend. It'll make you want to sharpen every blade in your home!
