Deluxe Victorian Rose Costume Dress

So so pretty! Many said hoop skirt didn’t work but we didn’t have any issue with it being too big. Dress was well made and really pretty. Worth the buy!

I got this for my daughter who is a bit on the petite side, but it actually fit pretty well. I went by the size suggestion and bought a size small. She is around 38" tall when she had this on and it's floor length, but not really touching the floor. I think the petticoat helped also. It was a bit loose, but it worked out well. My daughter loved dressing up as a princess for the day! The only problem with this dress is the underskirt comes with 2 hoops, which sticks out so you can see very clearly that there are hoops underneath the dress to make it flare out (one around the middle of the skirt and one at the bottom. I ended up removing the top hoop and purchasing a petticoat through Chasing Fireflies for her to wear beneath the dress; it makes the dress flare out more naturally. I left the bottom hoop in and I'm thinking I probably should've removed that hoop also as you can still see the outline of the hoop at the bottom of the dress in the picture attached. Overall though, it was a great buy. The fabric is nice, soft and not itchy. My daughter loved it and we received many compliments on the dress.

This costume is so beautiful! It has better quality than most and comes with a nice zippered plastic bag for storing. It is velvety and has 2 hoops under the dress to poof it out. The hoops are not removable. I took the advice of others and ordered up a size. I got the medium (8-10) size. My daughter wears a size 5 and is about 42"tall. It is a little bit long and drags on the floor, but I just pinned it. It has elastic around the waist. It is also a little big. But that's ok, there is room for clothing to be worn underneath. I would say the overall size of the dress is more like a 6/7/8. I'm so glad I ordered this costume. My daughter feels like a princess

It was hard to tell what size to buy. I bought the Medium for my 4.5 year old, who is 35 pounds and 41 inches tall. The dress is maybe two inches too long, the closure on the top is just a Velcro square piece that keeps coming apart, which then leads the the dress falling off her shoulders/falling off/down. I’m unsure if I’m going to keep it. The details are beautiful and the velvet is nice, but because of the length, it falling off, and not being very washable… I’m not thrilled.

This is so perfect for my 6 year old daughter. She is very tall and slender so I ordered the medium because I wanted it to be as long as possible. It comes about 2 inches above the ground which is exactly what we wanted. I may have to take it in with a few stitches but only a tiny bit. Again, she has a very long but small torso. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the same thing that kept coming up in other reviews. The hoop around her hip section is very visible. It's not great. But I have a couple of tutus lying around and it works to make the hoop somewhat disappear. The dress is beautifully made for what it is and for the price. This is a costume, people. I think some people may be forgetting that. :) my daughter has hearts in her eyes for this dress and I can tell she feels like a beautiful princess while wearing it. That's all that matters in the end. Recommend, for sure.

I purchased this for my 4 yr old granddaughter and it is just beautiful! I sew quite a bit and am very particular about the quality of fabric and workmanship of garments. I must say that the fabric is very nice, not the typical "costume" fabric that falls apart after Halloween. The construction of the dress is very professional and well done. It was delivered in a nice plastic dress bag. The directions for care says hand wash and I have a newer washer that I think will be fine on hand wash cycle and drip dry. It is a surprise for my granddaughter so I have not tried it on her yet but it seems it will fit her great with a little room to grow. I ordered size small..I know she will be thrilled with this! We are going on cruise in a few weeks and I plan to give it to her to wear on formal night dining. I am going to bring a needle and thread with me in case it is a little long. She will love this, it has all her necessary components, princess, glittery, big skirt (hoop is great) and above all PINK!!!! Thank you for a quality product, I know will do more business in the future.

I bought this adorable costume for my 7 year old daughter for a fall party. I didn't have a lot of time when I ordered it, however they processed the order and shipped really fast! I went off the sizing chart and ordered accordingly and was very happy with the fit. I will say she's on the thin side, so I knew it would be a tad bit big, but that worked perfectly because she wanted to wear a shirt on underneath in case she got cold. The skirt does come with 2 hoops, and we decided to take out the top one and leave the bottom one in. The top hoop makes it puff out in the back and look a little strange, but it was easy enough to remove. The material is very soft and pretty, definitely better than other costumes we've bought. I would definitely recommend this costume for any little girl! My daughter received so many compliments on it, and she's enjoyed wearing it many times since then.

this was a really great halloween costume. I wanted something we could layer if needed since in TN you NEVER know what the weather is until you walk out of the house. Like some of the others we did have to remove one of the hoops but I will say that the wire that is in the dress is a high quality and does a great job of holding it's shape even with my daughter wearing it repeatedly since halloween. The fabric wasn't cheap like a lot of kids costumes which is such a pleasant surprise. I am hoping that my youngest will get to wear it when she is older. Such a beautiful and well made costume for the price!
