Ctronics 2K 3MP Outdoor Security Camera with Color Night Vision, PTZ Digital Zoom CCTV Surveillance Camera Home with 355°Pan 90°Tilt Auto Tracking Human Detection Two-way Audio

This is a superb camera, for the money. Looks the part, quite menacing in it's black colour form. But what lets this camera down is the god-awful Windows software, it really is bad. For a start, setting this camera up is even more difficult than installing the camera on your outside wall. You have to use your phone or tablet to scan the QR Code on the box, this adds the camera to your phone/tablet app, but not the Windows app. In the Windows app, you have to manually enter your 'Area', then modify your area to add your 15-number serial - "Input UID", then do a search to find your wi-fi, select your wi-fi, then add your router's details, then goto the "Camera" icon, then click on the region you want. Hopefully, then your camera is online in one of the windows on the right. But this took a long time of trial and error, because the camera kept saying "camera not found", or "camera offline", even though it was online in the router's settings. Once setup, the camera is easy to use. There are buttons to move the camera, but the dome version I purchased doesn't zoom in or out, despite the advert saying it has zoom, it doesn't. You can zoom in the camera software, but all this does is zoom the "screen", not the camera lens. BUT, there is one REALLY annoying button in the Windows software. The middle circular arrow, the button that is surrounded by directional arrows in the PTZ section, bottom left of the software. what this button does is it puts the camera in "Roam" mode, and the camera roams, or rotates the camera automatically, but you can't switch this off, there is no stop button. And if you try to keep pressing this button the camera keeps roaming, even if you quit the camera software then restart it, the camera KEEPS roaming, and the only way I have found to stop it is to constantly keep pressing one of the directional buttons until it stops - this might take 5+ minutes of constantly pressing the button, OR you power off the camera for at least 5 minutes. So annoying, to a point that this software could make you want to send it back, it's that bad. I won't be sending mine back because I spent some time installing the camera high up on one of my exterior walls, and it is a good camera - I will get another one for the back part of my property, but only because I now know how to use the software, and what to avoid doing. The price is low enough to justify getting another camera, and putting up with the awful software. Recording, and taking snapshots is a breeze, and that has worked very well. Although, this is direct to my PC, not a SDcard. If you don't mind the tinkering with the Windows software, then this is a good-value camera. The phone app is much easier to setup and use, but not that practical when you are at home, it's more for when you are out.

Quite apart from Ctronics IP cameras being excellent devices and simple to install, support for the cameras is also excellent. Because cameras can be accessed remotely, it allows support staff to log onto a camera from across the world to resolve any issues. Cameras are robust and reliable, and are great value for money. A couple of suggestions, however…Whilst the software to access a camera is easy to use and events can be recorded in SD or HD, they are only recorded in blocks of 14 seconds. This wouldn’t be too much of an issue if the software could play back a group of events automatically, one after the other, and optionally save the group as one file. At the moment you have to play events one at a time. This is a bit time consuming. Another nice-to-have would be a “follow” function. I have three cameras covering different sides of my property. What would be good is if the software showed the camera that was currently recording an event. I know you can view 4 cameras at once, but I think a “follow” function would be more convenient, and being able to record these events in one file would be great.

Camera arrived quickly and really well packaged. The camera was packed securely in a very heavy duty bubble wrap. Also in the box were the instructions, power lead, ethernet lead and screws and plugs. Connecting to the camera to a phone took a couple of tries but managed it within 15 minutes. Then connected easily to wifi network. The app is very good and allows you to view images in real time and in excellent quality. We like the 'talk back' feature which turns the camera into an intercom and can have a conversation through it from anywhere! Night vision is equally good image quality. The ability to move the camera from the app is also very good. Auto tracking is great, you can select a zone for the camera to monitor and any human entering that zone gets followed by the camera. Excellent value for money

We have just installed two of these cameras and must say they are really excellent. They are easy to install and the manual that comes with each one can be very helpful with the installation. We contacted the makers to sort out one matter and spoke with Candy. Within 24 hours Candy replied and gave us very clear point to point instructions which immediately solved a very small problem. Candy was excellent; very helpful and was concerned for us that we were ok. We would highly recommend that the company congratulate Candy on the way she helped us and I am sure Candy would be the same to others.

Easy to fit, easy to set up. Plugged mine straight into eithernet port so no issues with signal blockers or bandwidth. Image is perfect much better than camera's twice the price night vision is equally as good. The infrared lighting really lights everything up as does the led if you wish too. App does everything it should possibly my only gripe is you have to play each 15 minute video individually and you can't set the alarm record for longer than 10 seconds. You get everything recorded but you then have a lot of individual videos to go through. Still well worth the money. I might put one on the rear of the house too for that money:)

Funziona grazie all' app "Ctronics pro" grazie alla quale si può gestire completamente dal proprio smartphone per una videosorveglianza a 360 gradi. Nel complesso direi che si tratta di un ottimo prodotto per quanto riguarda il rapporto qualità prezzo. Molto comoda la funzione di riconoscimento umanoide con possibilità di seguire i movimenti della persona inquadrata. La telecamera ruota a 360 gradi su se stessa, non ha problemi per essere installata all' esterno e permette l' inserimento di una scheda SD per l' archiviazione delle immagini. Si connette wifi. Visione nitida e scorrevole, le immagini non si bloccano durante la visione tramite app. Ottimo acquisto, consigliato per coloro che vogliono videosorvegliare senza spendere una fortuna.

ch habe die Kamera bestellt und nun ein paar Monate im Einsatz. Die Einrichtung klappt gut und ist relativ einfach - etwas Grundwissen (IP-Adressen-Vergabe etc.) schadet aber nicht. Leider hat sich bei meiner Kamera die Nachtsicht verschlechtert, sodass ich mich an den Service wenden musste. Sehr lobenswert ist hier vor allem, dass man einen Ansprechpartner hat, der sich um das Problem von Anfang bis Ende kümmert, sodass man nicht alles doppelt und dreifach erklären muss. Mein Ansprechpartner war "Echo" der sehr sich sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit zeigte. Da die Kamera scheinbar wirklich einen defekt aufweist, was die Nachtsicht angeht, wurde mir ein Ersatzgerät zugeschickt (siehe Bild) - somit sollte das Problem behoben sein. Meiner Meinung nach macht man bei Ctronics nichts falsch - Service (und zwar sehr guter) ist auch nach dem Kauf gegeben - Preis / Leistung ist sehr gut. Ich werde sicher noch die ein oder andere Kamera dieser Marke kaufen :-)

Esta cámara es una maravilla, la calidad de video buenísima, visión nocturna, movilidad del objetivo....etc funcionan perfectamente. Conectarla es facilísimo. Muy contento con la compra y también con el servicio postventa de Ctronics, que te solucionan cualquier duda inmediatamente. Compra totalmente recomendada.

Gute Bildqualität - Bewegungssensor reagiert relativ spät - ausserdem lässt sich die Kameraposition nicht genau einstellen mit der dafür vorgesehenen App von Ctronics. Dafür aber kann man aber über die App "IP Cam Viewer Lite", wo man mehrere Cams steuern kann, diese Cam genauer einstellen. Das Manko ist eigentlich nicht die Cam selbst, sondern die schlechte Ctronics-App. Darum nur 4-Sterne.
