When laser engraved the core which is grey, goes browner, as if burnt. Cheap enough to buy but not really good enough for sign making, which is intended use.

It's too thin and the white part is not real white but a little grey/silver.

I paid for .06 and got .04 thickness. Item Not As Described. returned. They are, however, easy to to do the score and bend to snap into smaller pieces. take a flat edge like a metal ruler, carefully gently slide the edge of a box cutter to score, or use something like a manual slide the blade thing with mounted blade, about 10 times to make a groove, bend it against an edge to break, snapping into smaller pieces, then use a knife to trim the edges if any bits are sticking out.

It’s a great piece of material at a great price, but it’s definitely not adequate for laser engraving. It’s my fault for not reading the fine print because they clearly state that it may not work on laser engravers. If you’re wanting to laser etch it, don’t be surprised if the white core turns gray.

Great material, but mine came at 0.043” instead of advertised 0.060”. Measure and setup CNC machine properly.
