Good value for an old fashioned hand held mag

I have worn glasses for 60 years to help my distance vision, until the last decade I could just take them off to see up close (closer than reading distance) but those days are fading and I need more 'help' for some of the tiny things. This magnifying glass is really handy to have on my desk and it has a glass lens so it hasn't become all scratched up. A recent example was using it to find the disassembly notch on a watch and then read the number on the tiny, dead battery. Other than it taking me a while (not the fault of the glass) to learn that I had to pick which eye I was going to look through and close the other one to avoid eye strain (I don't recall that being necessary in science class all of those decades ago) I have had no problems with the magnifying glass and am very glad to have it nearby.

Great little magnifier!
This is a small magnifier but it is powerful enough for me to read those super tiny words on the side of a pill bottle. Super happy with it! So frustrating when you can almost see something! Feels nice and substantial too, not plastic cheapy.
