I bought this for my trips to protect my EON Steel in my carryon backpack and I am so happy I got it. I read a review that said it was too small to fit the EON Steel with the the wrist strap, but that is not so. Yes, the padding is soft so if you need something more durable find a hard case. I used to wrap mine in a towel that is equivalent to the soft bag so I don’t think I’ll have problems. Very happy that I bought it!
