One thing to bear in mind is that the silicone cases don't really cover the back of the unit. They cover the front and edges, and there are wings that stick out and cover the ends of the battery compartment, which act as feet if you place your PO on a flat surface. It was kind of weird at first, but once I got used to it, I appreciated the consistency with the aesthetic of the PO itself. And of course I have to have a portal-colored case for my PO-137, just like I have portal-colored dice for D&D vs. RaM.

I've tried other cases like the acrylic one (which looks beautiful and really displays the PO's PCB design, but the plastic buttons just don't feel as responsive.) Also this case doesn't sacrifice the portability. Pro Tip: If you’re like me and you love taking your Pocket Operator on the go, this case is a lifesaver. It adds enough durability to toss it into a bag without worrying about bending the board or scratching the screen. Final thoughts: It’s hard to believe such a small upgrade could make such a big difference, but this case is worth every penny.
