About the same cost for a plasticky responsive yo-yo with no accessories at a local shop, but with a much better feel and has a few extra strings and the bearing. The yo-yo came with the responsive bearings installed so I had to replace them with the kit and tools. That wasn't too difficult though a bit fiddly to get the bearings out, though I should only have to do it once. So far has been working great and has been a lot of fun as a beginner since it spins so long and a better shape for string tricks. Just be careful with it being metal that you don't hit anything or anyone haha
