Hanayama Cast Chess Silver King (King) (9326665)

I like the solid feel of these chess pieces. I have not solved this puzzle yet. It's got an interesting design, and I'm not sure how to approach it. So far, this a good level 3 puzzle. I've gotten the queen as well. Both are a nice addition to my collection.

When I left my job, I wanted to get something for my boss to basically say "I give up, you win". This was the perfect solution to my need. No note was required. I just set it on his desk on my last day. He didn't come to the office but I heard through the grapevine that he got it and the thought.

I have many hanayama puzzles and this got my attention for the look. It is a level 3 puzzle so expect a simple solution. It is well crafted and looks nice displayed. I will probably continue with the series even though it is not terribly difficult to solve.

Took me about 30 minutes to solve. Makes a nice decoration to my room and makes me feel like a king. Good construction and has a good amount of weight to it.

Very simple to figure out, but it sure is purdy! Though expensive, tis another great addition to my ever-growing collection.

A fantastic well made puzzle.

Very simple puzzle. I like it more as a decoration. The 3 star rating is simply because after solving the puzzle a couple of times, the puzzle got jammed closed and I have been unsuccessful at un-sticking it. I'm sure I could get it apart again with some force, but I don't feel comfortable applying too much pressure.

The puzzle itself is a solid metal puzzle, but the moveable pieces are very wobbly and didn't feel unified. I could clearly tell what pieces needed to be moved to remove it. Didn't feel much like a challenge, but that may be a good thing for some.
