Compared to all magnifiers, the full-size Juliet 4x is a great value imo
After endless hours of obsessing over different specs and pros and cons and handling in person, my search concluded with either the Holosun HM3X or the Juliet 4x. Micros suck, only go the full size models. The HM3X glass is incredible and looked better than even the Eotech G33 I experimented with in person. Unfortunately like the reviews you’ve read, the HM3X mount does not feel like it will last. Opening the Juliet 4x box you notice how much more solid everything is about the magnifier housing and the mount feels rock solid. They market this as their “PowerCam” mount and it seems to be quality. Most people will say 3x is the sweet spot but I agree with the sentiment that if the weight is going to be added at all, I appreciate the extra magnification. Anything beyond 4x however did not feel usable at higher speed shooting but maybe for stationary work. Even checking out the other brands I didn’t feel like the value proposition was there. The Eotech magnifiers were slightly sturdier but not enough to warrant the cost imo. I’m very happy with this guy but if Holosun makes a 2.0 version of the HM3X they will give SIG a run for their money being half (!!!) the price.

Excellent Full-Size Duty Rifle Red Dot -- Very Affordable Compared to Trijicon or Aimipoint
I've put this on 16" barrel 5.56x45mm NATO, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend AR-15s. The 30mm objective combined with unlimited eye relief is a welcome change admitting much more light and giving a wider view compared to sights with a 20-22mm objective such as the Romeo5 and Romeo7S. In spite of the battery compartment, it has very little clutter on the sides or top to obscure situational awareness view around it. The next closest in the 1X red dots I've used is the 25mm objective on a Primary Arms MD-25 ACSS. Its design is nearly a clone of the Aimpoint Comp M4. Housing is very durable and definitely not fragile. Red dot is crisp and its brightness adjustment range spans all the levels of lighting range I've encountered, indoors and out. Set to an appropriate level for the ambient lighting, I've never had to hunt for the dot. Parallax is nil. Dot stays on target. I don't have NODS, and cannot speak to its night vision settings. Automatically turns itself off if left idle for a couple minutes and comes back to life immediately when picked up, without any delay. Comes with honeycomb front filter to prevent objective reflection back toward target, and helps deal with glare from bright light sources in front of sight. Presence does not noticeably reduce light coming through. Quick release works well and is easily adjusted for proper tension. I've not lost zero when properly installing and reinstalling it in the same location on the rifle rail. Size and Rail Real Estate: This is a full-size sight, with the corresponding weight of one, especially with its battery and its beefy, very durable housing. Its length will consume a sizeable part of the upper receiver rail. If combined with a magnifier, depending on magnifier length, the magnifier may interfere with a BUIS, even if the Romeo7 is put as far forward on the receiver rail as possible (it should not extend out onto the barrel shroud rail, if there is one over the barrel). I've combined it with a full size Juliet 3 (not the Micro), and it fits, but the BUIS cannot be deployed unless the Juliet is flipped to the side out of the way. The rail will be crowded. Those for whom weight is the highest priority should look at smaller, more compact and micro optics. Its 30mm objective with its benefits and optical train are a tradeoff with size and weight (e.g. Romeo4 or Romeo5).

Good gear Get it!
What should you know? Simple this is a good piece of gear. Many years ago I started out with an M 16 A1 times have changed dramatically. My first real red dot was a Aimpoint. It never failed me when I was bouncing around on Amazon I came across the Romeo seven. Very similar to an aim point this one for the cost was certainly worth it. You don’t need to What did I like well, the simplicity of mounting it was easy. It came with scope caps with the kill flash for the front objective rugged as hell and it’s reasonably priced. If you want a red dot that is clean and uncluttered, this is the one for you? I’m very happy with my purchase and maybe buy a second one for another rifle. Pos: a one stop red dot scope for rifles. Appears to be very rugged, ease of installation on your rails and lastly, it’s not ridiculously over-the-top expensive!

Very impressed
This review will be thrown in with the many of thousands of positive reviews for this optic. Glass: great Dot: good Build: very good Weight: heavy Looks: great There is a lot of competition in the budget red dot arena but this one will grow with novice shooters and likely act as a primary or back up for more advanced shooters. I’m not alone when I say this is a great, if not the best, budget option as it’s very well constructed and competes with dots way above its price point. For the new shooter or those new to this dot, the first two settings are not visible to the naked eye, night vision capability is required to see a dot at those settings.

Great red dot for the money. Great mounting system. No shake awake.
Impressive. It will auto turn off like the Romeo5 but won't shake awake like a 5. To turn it back on, turn the dial one notch up or down from wherever you left it and it will turn back on. The dot seems sharper somehow than my Romeo5. It has a nice locking mechanism. It looks good and works good on a DD4 V7. Great value for the money. Ease of use, shake awake would be great but the 7 has less electronics to fail. If I need shake awake bad enough - I'll grab something with a 5 on it. This seems more duty grade. You can't go wrong with a 5 or a 7. Showed up in perfect shape with caps to cover the glass and an anti‑Reflection Device (killflash) that screws in over the objective lens. This is my first 7 but probably not my last.

Pretty cool!!
It’s awesome...but....the knob is hard to dial up to a good dot(brightness) knob location is in a bad spot there’s no room to give it one good crank you have to give it three-four little separate turns. If you could turn it Counter clockwise too, it would be absolutely perfect in every way!!!! Or a knob on the side of it instead of a tiny knob that’s blocked by the optic tube. I love it but my fingers hurt. I decided to keep it LOL but I get tired of feeling like I can Redesign products better than the engineers do. I’m a special ED/dropout. It’s awesome though, it’s Reliable, extremely durable and crystal clear. It’s really beautiful to look through. I’ll be hog hunting with it. God Bless America. 🤘🏼🇺🇸🤘🏽💯♥️

Aimpoint for normals.
First the bad, which is the same problems as the aimpoints options. Its heavy and takes up a lot of rail space. After that, pure gold. It has a tighter dot then the aimpoint m68 cco, the mounting system is more consistent and doesnt run the risk of screws coming loose and the optic rotating because of it. Returns to zero perfectly, (as long as the same 1913 section is used). It is significantly less expensive and, feature wise, it is far richer then its Swedish competition. Yes, the turret guards are annoying when you zero. Get your zero at 25 meters (for a standard ar15) and you are solid out to 300 meters. Get your zero, replace the caps and have no worries. Another HUGE advantage is using standard batteries, and it will last a very, very long time. Accesories included are decent. The flip caps kinda suck, they came loose after 60 rounds and wouldn't sit right, but i never intended on using the caps long term. Honestly, flip caps on a serious optic are kinda pointless if you ask me. Just another thing to slow you down and get in the way. The glass and the coatings they use are more then adequate for any serious application. By all accounts it is a durable, reliable, accurate, and very budget friendly optic. In my humble opinion, aimpoint, vortex, and even trijicon cant hold a candle to any sig optic as far as features, durability and price. Buy with confidence, any and all sig optics.
