We purchased these for a child with Dyslexia to help them follow along and not skip lines on accident. They work great for that and when they finish reading they use them as a book mark. The package we ordered came with multiple colors, different animal kinds, and different line sizes. They are so fun that our other children asked to use them as bookmarks. I would definitely recommend them for a child who needs a little extra help or motivation in the reading category.

Perfect gift for our first grader! She's doing great with reading but we noticed some times she would start reading words on the next line by accident. I know what you’re thinking. It should have been obvious. But just in case you, too, are shopping for them for a teenager who likes silly stuff, you should know that only a few of them work for teenage-sized text in books. Most of them are more the size of giant little kids picture book text.
