2-Port VGA Switch, Manual (3x HD15F) (B112-002-R)

I have two laptops connected to one one monitor using this switch box. It works fine for me. I do not notice any difference between the monitor plugged directly into the laptops or using the switch box. Setup was a snap and it works without a hitch. When I push button A, it displays from my Toshiba. When I push button B, is displays from my Dell. I am not sure what more the switch box should do... at a really nice price.

This lil gadget works! If i ever needed another switch , I would be buying another one. I got this because I need it for my work at home job to switch from their computer to mine using only 1 monitor. with just the click of A or b, I was on whichever computer I wanted be. It comes in handy when you get bored talking to customers and you already know the scripts and the steps to helping them!! Make sure you buy an extra cable to connect both computers to this. I recommend getting another Coax High Resolution Monitor VGA Video Cable - HD15 to HD15 M/M.

Bought this because I needed to use one monitor between my computer CPU and my Security camera DVR system. It is so easy to use, just plug in and it starts switching, plus it is very compact and neatly built. I am very pleased!

This 2-way VGA switch is simple and very compact. However, the maker's claim that it will work with different operating systems did not prove true for me. It seems to work fine on a computer with Windows 7, but causes a problem on a computer which can be booted to Windows XP or Ubuntu 12-4. The problem is that the resolution will be changed to a lower value than is appropriate for the monitor, and the computer's image will not fit within the limits of the screen. I read a review for a different (though similar) VGA switch which suggested the same problem. Apparently you can't be certain that this type of switch will work if your operating system is something other than Windows 7.

Excellent item..Worked as described and easy to work with. For switching displays this item is fast and easy.I recommend it for home use.

This item works, but is not fully wired, so modern monitors don't work too well with it. I got 640x480 on a 24 inch monitor (barf). Got some nice high end vga cables and everything - no matter. If you want to monitor a server or something once in a while (ie no graphics) This might be ok. That is why i gave it 2 stars

It works okay, but when my monitor is connected to it, my laptop will not detect the monitor. But other than that it works and it's cheap. If you just need to switch between two desktops it would be fine.

I bought this so I could toggle back and forth between my laptop, ENO Board, AppleTV, and ELMO without having to screw around with wires and plugs. This little box has been a lifesaver and has saved me so much time. I highly recommend for anyone in a classroom who needs to switch between displays quickly and efficiently.

El producto realmente es pequeño, debe de medir no mas de 10 o 15 centimetros por unos 2 de alto. Pero funciona muy bien!, es fácil al instalarse y su funcionamiento es inmediato. No requiere toma de luz y por su tamaño es discreto en mi escritorio, altamente recomendable.

The previous review states this doesn't do 1600x900 . It does . You do have to hook everything up then change the resolution on your laptop to whatever you want after your screen or projector is recognized . I'm running 1600x900 now and it's sweet not to have to plug and unplug anymore as we use this product for a home theatre with a projection screen. 10 / 10 ! We love this product !!!!

no matter where the resolution is set, the computer screen was way to blurry to use, but the large screen image for my projector was not too bad

El dispositivo se ve mucho mas grande en la foto, el realidad es muy compacto y se acomoda perfecto en el escritorio y funciona de maravilla, tengo dos CCTV conectados a un mismo monitor y con solo picar un boton (mecanico) se cambia la imagen
