I don't know what kind of magic this thing possesses, but it has really worked for my dog, 75 lb lab mix. For a variety of reasons (combination of aging behavior, health issues, excitable personality, etc.) my dog started waking up frequently throughout the night. Before the happy hoodie, he would pace restlessly in the bedroom or whine until I woke up and we'd go downstairs and lay on the couch. One night I decided to see if this would help - he woke up restless, I gently slipped it on him, and within seconds he was back on the bed and snoozing away comfortably until it was time to get up. I use it during the daytime here and there when he is overly worked up or restless for one reason or another and it has worked consistently for him. Make sure to keep their ears flat against their head underneath the hoodie - takes a second or two to get the fit right but it makes a difference. It worked so well I bought a second one so I could have an upstairs one and a downstairs one. Size large was a good fit. Worth every penny in my opinion!

My poor girl had surgery for an ear hematoma, so I needed something to hold her ears down so she couldn't flap. I got a size large which fit great for my 55 pound lab mix. I found the happy hoodie was fairly easy to fall down to her neck or just get off completely after Ruby got used to it. We started wrapping her ears first with the stretchy self adhesive banages, then put the happy hoodie over that. Worked like a charm! You can't go wrong with the price either. I bought two right away so I could switch off when one got dirty. I did try a couple other brands/hoodies. I ended up returning the others because they didnt work out as well as Happy Hoodie did.

These are so worth it if you are a groomer of cats or dogs. They help calm the pet immensely while being dried and can help with scared kitties who would rather be hiding in a hole than where they are. You can pull the happy hoodie over their eyes and ears to make them feel safer during the groom. I bought two different sizes XS and SM since I groom only cats and the size difference will matter when trying to protect their ears from loud sounds. They are easily washed as well. I just throw them in with the regular laundry and will dry on a low setting.

I liked this idea. The Happy hoodie wouldn't stay on his head even though I ordered the recommended size so it didn't work for us. It was to easy for him to shake or rub off his head.

My dog Molly absolutely hates baths. Normally she shakes, whines, and gets very stressed once the blow dryer comes out. I decided to try the Happy Hoodie after seeing it recommended for anxious dogs during grooming. It made a noticeable difference. The hoodie gently covers the ears and helps muffle the loud sound of the dryer, which seems to calm her down. Instead of panicking the whole time, she stayed relaxed and even fell asleep during her (very long) blow dry. If you have a dog that struggles with bath time or grooming noise, this is definitely worth trying. It made the whole experience much easier for both of us. The material is soft, stretchy, and easy to put on.

It is great. I did get the large for my seven-month-old GSD. It fit perfectly, and it is easy to put on and still get her ears down. That is very important. She was not happy with the Happy Hoodie at first, but by the time the blower had done its job, she had reconciled herself to it. Not the fault of the hoodie, but puppies are all different in their likes and dislikes. I thought I might try it! That is how comfortable it seems. I had no problems with the hoodie staying put, I bought a blue one and puppy looked adorable. I would not say it was calming, but again, some puppies are able to take more than others. If I had other dogs, I would use it on them.

Schöner elastischer Hoodie, der sich gut an die Kopfform anpasst. Ich habe den Hoodie gekauft, um die Ohren unseres Hundes zu schützen, der zeitweise ein Problem mit Ohrrandnekrose hatte. Der Hoodie wurde gut angenommen und war sehr hilfreich.

Bought for my senior cat because she has severe anxiety. She was sedated along with the happy hoody and she was an angel. I more bought it for the sake of my cats condition. She suffers from a condition (EGC) where she gets sores and she usually gets them on her neck. This was the perfect solution to stop her from itching the sores on her neck. She did scratch the hell out of it. Will def buy another if the other falls apart but very durable. Bonus she looked very regal. I didn't realize it came with a small and big size. Gifted the bigger size to family friend with a doge.
