I wish there were more books in this series! The instructions are excellent and love that there is a finished version of each drawing in colour. I'm pairing this with National Geographic Kids Greeking Out podcast for students to listen & learn about Greek Mythology as they draw and paint.

Mythological characters, Minoan bulls and dolphins, characters from various walks of life, columns, borders and everyday items like jugs and olive branches are simply presented in this great little book. Easy enough for early elementary kids to feel successful, but a wide enough selection for older kids (and me!) to enjoy as well.

I got this for my son who likes art but gets frustrated when his drawings dont look good enough. This book makes it really easy for drawings to look quite realistic with its step by step guide. It is also great to learn about the Greek civilisation as part of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
