I use this specifically for the tattoo on my foot. After a long day in the sun, I have a tan around the tattoo itself, but no sun damage on or around wear I have applied this sunscreen, which is exactly what I wanted. I do not want any sun damage on my tattoo and this sunscreen did its job beautifully. I apply it as directed on the package. It is a great size and easy to throw in a purse or bag to travel with. I will definitely purchase this again. Great quality! I highly recommend!

I bought this before I went on vacation since my tattoo was fresh and I was going to be out in the sun. I would put this on and around my tattoo 30 minutes before sun exposure and would apply every hour and half to two hours. It works amazing! I ended up getting a sunburn all over my body expect on and around my tattoo thanks to this product! The product is small just like a glue stick, but works great! I just wish it was bigger.

The stick is about the same diameter as a quarter, so this is perfect for smaller tattoos in my opinion. It's very portable and easy to apply quickly. It doesn't leave a white cast over skin like some lotion sunscreens. It does add a bit of a shine that makes the colors on my tattoo look more vibrant. I do notice a scent from it, but my feelings about it are neutral. I can't smell it unless I put my face right up to it and it doesn't smell good or bad to me. It's just kind of there. Overall, I'm very happy with the product and will likely buy it again when I run out.

I love this stuff. Perfect to roll over tattoos and keep in my bag. I sprayed a base later of sunscreen all over myself and then put the stick over only my tattoos. You can see how it protected even after hours of wear in the water. Obsessed with this stuff and have used it for years.

This stuff is magic! It's the best sunscreen I've ever used on my tattoo. Usually by the end of a summer of constant sunscreen application (my tattoo is on my forearm, so it's always in the sun), my ink is looking dull and faded and tired. This was my first summer using Cannasmack's Ink Guard, and the opposite couldn't be more true - I don't think my tattoo has looked this good since I got it! It's also super easy to apply - I just carry it in my purse or backpack and can throw it on in a matter of seconds with absolutely no mess. The only downside is oxybenzone being the key ingredient - for healthy, long term use, I hope they come out with a zinc option that is as effective. But in the meantime, I've found my go-to sunscreen, and am happy enough that I've also just ordered their lotion, and plan to purchase the healing salve to use next time I get a tattoo.

Pros: -Seems to work well. I’ve put it to the test already. -Easy to apply. Glides on pretty smoothly without having to get your hands on it. Cons: -Cost. The $10 price stag seems steep for what you get. While I appreciate that they use natural ingredients that are not harmful, I don’t want to continue to throw down $10 all of the time. I think $7-$8 would be fair. -SCENT. Regardless of other reviews or questions answered claiming that this is unscientific, there IS definitely a scent. If you know what a plant smells like, you’ll smell it on you. If you know what cannabis smells like, you’ll be able to tell but it smells like cannabis. My tattoo happens to be a large one on my shoulder, so it is closer to my nose than others who might claim there’s no scent because their tattoo is on their leg or back. -Consistency? While I feel that this works, I’m not sure that it does each time. I definitely have a clear line where the sun meets the natural skin, but there are a couple of spots that did have some red from the sun. Yes, I did put this on evenly. Overall, the Cons are not a make or break for me. If anything it would be the scent and the cost, Not the quality of the product. I would like to see them tone down the scent, if possible. I’m just not into it, personally. The company was quick to reply to a question I had regarding why they didn’t go to an SPF 50. I appreciated the feedback that they gave me which helped me understand why. They told me that it wasn’t worth putting in harmful ingredients for the extra 1% of UV protection. So basically the SPF 30 in this is sufficient protection. 3.5 Stars would be a better review. Somewhere in between Good and Very Good.
