WOWZA IN A BOX!!!
WOW!!!!!!!!!! Ya know when you go to Best Buy or Costco as walk down the row of super tv's, culminating in "the one" that costs as much as a Hyundai?? The ONE is in my living room! I popped on Netflix's Ultra 4K "Moving Arts: Forests" via my Dish Network and broaband Wifi which is basically music and amazing forest scenes free content like their "fireplace". Holy Cow!!!!! It's just breath-taking, beyond seeing it in person. PICTURE: see above, best I've ever seen in years of ogling the most expensive ones in stores. Turn off DIGITAL CLEAR VIEW! It causes horrific stuttering in the picture, as mentioned in another review. I set the picture type to "Natural" for now given my 4k content. I upped contrast and sharpness from default 45 to 55 both. WOWZA!!! A lot of arguments out there about the curve as a feature. It's a matter of opinion it seems. For the 65" I really do feel more 'immersed' I can tell you! I don't know if a smaller screen size would compliment the curve as much. I feel sucked into this thing! SOUND: I bought a Samsung soundbar with the tv... but I keep putting off setting it up. Sound from tv is surprisingly clear, great range including bass and loud! REMOTE: Tv paired with my 4k Hopper 3 from Dish but only manually. The auto pairing failed. However, when I selected sat/cable, it then identified Dish Network Philadelphia. The remote is shocking. It's a tiny thing with none of the normal buttons except volume and kind of a mouse. I was skeptical to say the least. It was just a few minutes to realize what they did with this remote. When it paired with my dish it automatically synced the tv and dish into one. There is actually a consolidated menu (as an overlay on the bottom of the screen) that combines the dish and tv and netflix and Amazon controls into one AWESOME interface that does not block your current content. After an hour with it I have to say I've experienced the future of tv remotes and I'm loving it! You just have to read this and keep an open mind when you first play with it since it is a big (and wonderful) change! SETUP: 8 screws with a Phillips to secure to stand, 3 minutes with my drill/screw-head and a heft 75lb lift and I was done with the physical side. 2 people recommended for the lift as the 65" I got and the curve make for an awkward hold. Other than the above mentioned pairing with the new hopper 3 from dish (which did work with an extra 60 seconds effort) setup is a dream. Selecting letters for ids and passwords is super fast and easy with this little remote and the interface and crisp response time. AESTHETICS: She's a beut!!! The stand's v-shape with the wide part facing towards you makes for the ability to push it all the way back on the stand/table you set it on and easy to turn it quite a bit either left or right if you want to. The normal little feet on both ends you see on almost all tv's don't allow this. BOTTOME LINE: She'll have to blow up for me to be anything else but pleased way beyond expectations. **UPDATE 10/4/16** After breaking it in for a few months I still love this TV but I'm extremely frustrated with finding so little 4k content. I switched to Dish from Xfinity right when I got this tv and Dish's "HD" sucks even with the 4k Hopper 3. The only time I see UHD content is from Netflix and it's pretty rare. Nice problem to have and complain though I guess! Also, don't bother with a sound system. I never use mine with this TV's sound being more than sufficient. Deep, rich and loud sound.

Holy. Crap.
I had a 7yr old Vizio which my kids had done some minor damage to. As a result, I decided to get myself a Black Friday Xmas gift this year and this TV was that gift. I had researched TVs for the better part of the year, thinking originally that I would be buying a 3D capable model. As it is, 3D is not as available in the 2016 models as it was even as recent as last year. This lead me to consider a 4K option and I am so glad that I did. I had read that the curved models were more hype than substance and that less expensive options delivered similar quality. Conversely, I read reviews that advised splurging slightly more as this model is the low end of premium. All told, in my opinion, TV viewing is fairly subjective and you need to decide what you like and what features matter to you when watching. Having said all of this, I would recommend this TV over and over again to anyone looking. As I said, this was a Black Friday purchase so I bought at a price much less than MSRP. But even if I paid full price, I still wouldn't have been disappointed. I took a photo with my iPhone 6S and felt that the picture didn't do justice to the TV screen picture. The curve is not at all distracting like I thought it could be, although I'm not sold that it adds any real quality to my viewing experience. The colors are deep and rich; the contrast between dark and light is nothing short of stunning. Thus far I have watched Guardians of the Galaxy on Bluray, football on FoxHD and the opening sequences for Quantum of Solace on SciHD. I am blown away at the quality of the picture, how good the speakers are for 20W and the thinness of the unit. It looks amazing just sitting on my wall turned off - that's how much I enjoy this TV. As for the smart features - still getting used to it. I had some issue with the remote upon opening and then again trying to access the apps, but this was all easily fixed by pairing it with the TV again. The smart features are easy to use and the TV does most of the work for you. I have mine paired with my HD Cable receiver and can use the TV remote to control the receiver with no difficult. My Netflix and Amazon (pre-loaded on the TV) work seamlessly with the TV and I find the navigation far easier and superior to the Sony Bluray I had been using previously to access those services. To sum it up, this is a great TV and I can think of no reason not to buy it outside of cost. In my mind, Samsung has distanced themselves from the other manufacturers and set the standard for the competition to meet. Do yourself a favor and seriously consider this brand if you're going to lay out the cash for a quality or high-end TV. One note of caution though related to delivery. Some have expressed that XPO is a second-rate service. I had no issues with the time frame for delivery - I got it when they said I would. I will say that I think they had it in the local warehouse for a couple of days prior to scheduled delivery and, when it was delivered, the team did not fulfill the premium delivery services by unpacking the TV, inspecting it for shipping damage or plugging it in to ensure proper working and then disposing of oackaging. When I questioned them, they denied being responsible for anything other than taking it out of the shippin box and bringing the TV into the house. I didn't have the email in front of me and couldn't find it in my inbox. I also felt no need to argue with them. XPO called to follow up on their own and I voiced this in a message but there was no other follow up on their part. They really are a second rate service and Amazon needs to reconsider associating their brand with these knuckleheads.

Excellent computer monitor, very good for DVD viewing.
Preliminary review after about a week of ownership, primarily for use as a computer monitor. Great monitor. Color is superb. Works well with my MacBook Pro. I recommend working through the Mac's menu of color options. I went with CIE RGB, and the monitor itself set to Movie. This will not be anything like 4K, or even perhaps 2K. But it works superbly and permits use of the monitor from a focal distance of more than 6', employing a standard Mac wireless keyboard and—in my case—an extension-wired gaming mouse. I don't game but find a good gaming mouse much more comfortable for extended use. I do also have a Samsung Blu-ray player hooked up, and some initial tests were promising, though Blu-ray isn't 4K either. Hunger Games looks fabulous. Above all the color is excellent, much better than I've seen on many dedicated computer monitors—on any, actually. I cut the cord on cable and am now using this, as perhaps suggested above, for the double duty of computer monitor and movie viewing. Works great, and my living room is now a living room instead of a TV station. Btw consider cabling a real amp and sat speakers with subwoofer to your computer setup. You can have excellent 2.1 sound as well. I have a Polk sub and a pair of B&W small-scale bookshelf speakers, run through a high-end Yamaha amp. I’ll upgrade this review to 5 stars soon enough I expect, but I didn't want to fall into the "I love my new tech" trap. Everybody either loves their new tech or is gravely disappointed with it. In my case, so far so very good.

I was a bit septical when I saw this TV at that price but rest assured it's legit and 100% real!! I ordered the TV on a Tuesday night and first thing you knew Purolator was ringing my door bell on the Thursday. The TV was packed so well that nothing could of happened to it. I will definitely buy again from this seller, nothing but good things to say about it. And what to say about the TV - WOW!!
