SeaSense Super Polymer Bow Roller, 4-Inch,Yellow

When the original boat trailer bow roller eventually wore out, I ordered this as a replacement and it is well constructed and does the job very well. Not wear and tear issues after several launch and recovery's and hundreds of road miles with my 22' boat in tow pressed up firmly against this bow roller.

This is a great roller for the front of my trailer. Good price, fast shipping and it looks great on the trailer! If you need a front roller for your trailer this is a good one. Took about 2 minutes to change out the old one.

The hard rubber ones would split from the weight of my boat. These hold up nice. They do have a little give but you probably wouldn't notice if you had a lighter boat. The center part is 4", the whole thing is 7". Not sure why it's advertised as 4". Worked out for my bracket tho. Some people complained about it discolored after some time but not sure what the color matters. The 2 outside rollers don't even touch my boat when centered. They are only there to guide your boat to center of roller like the description says.

After may years of use, my old bow roller got hard and one of bells broke off. This one looks good and fits good but its too soon to know how long it will last. I noted that the OD of the roller is the same diameter as the diameter of the Bells. Because of the thickness of the bracket, I would expect the bow roller diameter to be slightly smaller so it will guide the bow of the boat to the middle. The little flat spot in the transition might not push the bow to center of roller. I noticed that the item it replaced had a smooth transition in that area but impossible to know if it will be a problem until I use it. Also - the label on the roller took some work to get off - the adhesive was super sticky. Boat/boat trailer maintenance always takes longer than you think it will.

It is very easy to install. The three piece design protects the front of the boat from hitting the bracket. I also liked the price.

Exactly what I expected

The original bow roller on my 98 trailer finally gave up after years of great service, so it was time to get a replacement ASAP or risk the nose of the boat getting smacked by exposed metal. The choice was obvious, so i ordered this bow roller. I love it when things just fit, and this item did. It looks good, seems to be of very nice quality, and most importantly executes it's very important job flawlessly. In about 5 minutes i had it installed and could now load the boat without a years worth of anxiety condensed into 5 minutes. 5 stars!

Bought this for my Smokercraft Phantom x2. It looks good and works great, hopefully it will last longer than the original.

Very flexible but also sturdy

Tiene menos de un año que lo instalé en mi remolque y a pesar de estar bajo techo en ciertas horas del día le da la luz solar, lo que pienso endureció el material plástico al grado de que se está despostillando de las orillas como si fuera vidrio y quedan filosas las aristas. Ya estoy pidiendo de otra marca. espero este resista.
