GIR: Get It Right GIRSPU0203RED Premium Silicone Spatula, Red

I first picked up one of these spatulas while on a trip. I was really surprised by how much I liked it. It's such a simple device, but everything seems perfect about it. The weight, the grip, the balance and texture are just the way I like. I had other Silicone spatulas that discolored, oozed strange goo or had handles that melted. I can leave this sitting in a sauce pan while something cooks and nothing happens. I've since replaced my hodgepodge or spatulas with a set of these. Not cheap, but I think they'll be the last ones I ever need to buy.

This is a HUGE spatula. I have the "ultimate" size too and use it nearly every time I'm cooking / baking. The entire thing is siilcone and non-stick, so cleaning up afterwards is great. There's a light flex throughout the handle of the spatula, but not too much, and there's more firmness to the edges of the head which makes it easier to clean the inside of bowls if things are a little more stuck on. Other spatulas I've used are too floppy and aren't as able to hold their own scraping down bowls.

I have had this spatula since 2016 (it is now currently 2023) and it still looks and works as good as the day I bought it! I’ve even gifted it twice since guests love it so much when I cook for them! Excellent quality and durability. It’s my favorite spatula not only because it looks like bacon but just feels good in your hand and works really well in the pan. Super heat resistant. It has outlasted all my other spatulas and just came back to order again and sad to see bacon is no longer available. Hope it come back soon!
