Solid, High-Quality Ethernet Cable That Delivers Consistently
I picked up this 4-foot StarTech CAT6 cable to connect a desktop PC directly to my router, and it’s been performing flawlessly. Right out of the package, you can tell it's a well-made cable — the outer jacket is sturdy but flexible, and the molded strain relief gives it a clean, professional look while protecting the connectors.Speeds are exactly what I’d expect from a CAT6 cable — fast, consistent, and reliable with no drops or bottlenecks. I’m using it for gigabit internet, and it has no trouble keeping up. It's also Fluke tested and TIA certified, which gives some added peace of mind for long-term use. What I really like is that it fits snugly into the ports without feeling overly tight or loose. The connection is solid, and I haven’t had any issues with it coming unplugged during use.If you need a short, dependable Ethernet cable for a home office, network switch, or anything else requiring fast wired connections, this one checks all the boxes. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more from StarTech if I need additional lengths.

Awesome! Soft & flexible, better strain relief, works well. Lifetime warranty.
This 15 ft white CAT 6 cable has exceeded my expectations! I've generally had very good luck with StarTech brand products on Amazon. First off, the strain relief molding turned out to be even better than the one in the photo here on Amazon. Notice that some brands of CAT 6 cables have a strain relief that flexes in the "up and down" direction, but not "side to side" due to a molding running the length of the side, which tends to cause the cable to bend severely sideways if pulled hard in that direction. BAD. The molding shown in the product folder here is a small step up from that, with molding strips on the top and bottom. TBH I nearly didn't buy this cable because of that strain relief in the Amazon photo vs. the one I actually wanted. BUT! What actually arrived - see my photos - is the best type possible, the one I wanted in the first place, that allows full cable flex in ALL directions with cross-hatch molding, while supporting it for strain. AWESOME! Second thing that I wasn't expecting is the cable (likely the external vinyl and/or the X rib plastic inside) is softer than another major brand white14 ft CAT 6 cable I already had and LAYS FLAT, NOT CURLED! That extra 1 ft (15") of this cable made the difference in having enough length. Notice in the photo this cable hanging off the table and running across the floor is FLAT AND STRAIGHT, even though it was curled up in the shipping package! The previous 14 ft CAT 6 cable I had (other brand) was much stiffer and remained curled like a corkscrew hanging down and going across the floor, despite my best efforts at straightening it by bending the other way. Not this cable! Just a small amount of straightening out of the package and voila! Lays flat. One tiny negative, but probably is part of being so soft and flexible, is this CAT 6 is slightly bigger diameter than the other, stiffer, brand (see the comparison photo). Still way smaller than the connector, so if you are running it through a wall hole shouldn't matter a bit. As for how the cable works, see the speed test photo. At least up to the 500Mbps/500Mbps AT&T fiber here, measured 619/623, which is typical. No complaints! That is on a Dell laptop plowing through two TP Link ethernet switches and the *cough* AT&T supplied router (so throughput-killing Wi-Fi, BTW, all wired ethernet until Wi-Fi 7 comes along lol). ANY brand is going to have an occasional bad one. In the photo of the product bag, note on the lower left corner of the label "Lifetime Warranty", and on the lower left of the bag itself the place to report it:www.startech.com/support. A screen capture of your Amazon purchase invoice should be enough proof of purchase. Goooo StarTech! :)

More Greyish than White, but working great!
Not white, more grey, but great quality patch cord for the price!I had a random cheap patch cord lying around I tried to use for my UniFi XGS access point and it failed in 24 hours. I replaced it with this patch cord and it is working great with 10GB PoE++!

It's a patch cord, it works and looks good
It's a patch cord, it works and looks good. I am constantly rebuilding, rearranging and shifting stuff around in my home network, lab, office, behind TVs, etc. As a result, I constantly buy new cables. These work, come in a variety of colors and lengths and are well built with good quality. They work well, flex to fit my spaces and varying layouts, have good speeds, no errors and they generally look good. I will be buying more as I play.

Reliable CAT6 Cable with Perfect Speeds and Manageable Thickness
This CAT6 cable works exactly as intended. The cord isn’t too thick and speeds are in the correct ranges.

Thick cable hits rated speeds, don't buy the fakes.
Bought this after a fake cable on amazon caused no end of headaches, it had claimed to be cat 6 but the wires were hair thin and it had trouble staying connected at the right speeds, I gave up trying to fix it and just bought this instead, the difference is quite stark, the fake cat 6 feels like an empty straw, this feels like a heavy cable filled with wire, the fake felt half empty and having taken it apart it had a cheap plastic divider inside and still wires couldn't fill out the thin skinned cover. Way too thin to even try a load bar connector. This one however is solid packed, and now my 2.5Gbps network is working fine. Also the plug is nice and compact, which aids in cheating through a wall since I didn't feel like gambling on terminating a new cable again.
