40-75 Tensilbits

Tensilbits are engineered specifically for high speed machining of tensile samples with the Tensilkut I and Tensilkut II. The 40-75 Tensilbit is a Solid carbide burr-type Tensilbit used for preparing specimens from glass laminates, fiberglass, composites and Kevlar. Note that for best results in cutting Kevlar, and other non-woven fibers, we suggest use of the 40-75 Tensilbit for cutting all but the final .005" of the samples, with the 40-76 Tensilbit to remove the last .005" and eliminate the frayed edges commonly experienced when cutting this material.
