This helped my dad stay upright in his wheelchair while going to doctor appointments. It held his upper body. Keep using the chair's lap belt to hold the hips in place. I crossed the shoulder straps behind the neck to keep from sliding to the side.

This item was ordered for my brother and it definitely helps as he has no control of his posture at all and the sizes were adequate in description.

This is not a one size fits all. Adjusted it to the end of the adjustment straps and it was still to big. Did not see an option for a smaller one.

I ordered this to help hold my 14 year old (120 lbs 6’2”)in the wheelchair because he passes out a lot and isn’t able to stop himself from falling out of the chair. It is HUGE!! It has an adjustable waist but the over the shoulder straps, not adjustable. We wrap them around the wheelchair handles three times just to help hold him in place and often times when he’s alert they fall off his shoulders anyway. I read the ad for any indication of size over and over and see nothing. It is made well and padded nicely and would probably be great for a larger individual.
