Amazing value, one issue
Amazing value for the price. Also the best loght for a 3x3 tent that I have found. The footprint fills the space perfectly and gives great light density everywhere. The only issue I am having is that it doesn't turn on when my loght timer triggers in the morning. Im not sure if it is a user issue and I need to tweak a setting or something, and its not a huge deal as I just need to remember to turn it on when I wake up, but it does put my grow at risk if I forget, which is troubling. Again though, I will chalk this up to being my issue and not the product. It was shipped fast, packed really well, and is a high quality light, especially for the price. Also a small US based business, which I love supporting. Warranty is also amazing. At 25% power and a foot farther away, it is providing the same PPFD that my 100w light was before, and it has the juice to get fat flowers later down the road. If you're looking for a 3x3 light, this is it.

4 x pro series 1000, 3x3 tent
I've been looking for a way to spread even light coverage over the entire footprint of the 3'x3' tent. 4 of the pro series 1000's got me there. Larger lights by design have a large hotspot in the center when looking at provided par maps. There are larger bar arrays available but cost prohibitive, this way i figure i can just add more if i bump up to a 4' x 4'. The other benefit of this approach is that you can independently raise and lower lights, and daisy chaining them together allows for easy separation of single lights from the chain, in case of plants stretching etc. There is a 5 year warranty on these things somehow, which is awesome. I haven't checked true wattage draw, I have no need to, par coverage is as advertised. The one gripe I have, and it's nothing to do with sonofarm really which is why i didn't deduct stars, is the diameter of the carabiners for the ratcheting clips, they never seem to fit on a grow tent cross bar. Zip ties work well for this, but you are still losing height no matter what. Again, there are only so many places that manufacture these things and its not like you have much choice if you need to stay within certain retail parameters. Dimming function works well, I like that there is standoffs between the drivers and the heatsink, couldn't be happier with the purchase

Great budget option
The light is awesome it works well in a 5x5 had it 4 months so far If your on a budget and want a good light with a good dimmer this is the one.its very bright and don't get very hot at all it gets a lil warm on full power nothing crazy though.it has same parts as more expensive lights like spiderfarmer

Very impressed . Excellent lights . My third light .
Just received my light 2 days early . Light was packaged excellent . Plenty of padding . Initial inspection it rivals the spider farmer light I bought a few months ago . Pretty much the same light with a couple differences like the heat sink thickness and diode placement . The drivers are a tiny bit bigger . But there both samsung diodes with mean well drivers which was a big deal as far as what I was looking for. After turning the light on it Bright as F. Just as bright at my other light . Very excited about it overall . Also very happy to help out a small business especially during these times . Nice hand written note from the owner making it feel like a personal purchase . So as far as I’m concerned the value of this light is incredible. Wish I had found sonofarm before I bought my SF. But hey , if I can help anyone else out and save them a few bucks so be it . I’ll do a follow up in a couple months to let you guys know the results .

Grab a SonoFarm panel and 5 year warranty...
These Lights are pretty rad. Just finished setting up two of them in a 4x4 tent. Used a PAR meter to check out the output. Everything’s on PAR with what’s advertised (pun intended) haha. With the two daisy chained together I can use the single dimmer knob and it’s a nice feature. At 36” and the dimmer at 50-60% the par meter was reading 297. Perfect for seedlings. Panels don’t get that hot at all it seems. With a 4in in-line fan and carbon filter, single small fan, and passive intake the tent was hovering around 80 degrees with both on full blast. Ambient temperature in room was 68 I believe. Another small fan blowing on the top of the panels would cool them even more Only recommendation I have is for SonoFarm to extend the length of the driver cables so we can place them outside the tent. Other than that a very solid light. Can’t speak to the results yet but my guess is I will be very very happy 😂

I think I got a good deal
First off, I’m a cheapskate. My initial statement is I am an avid “for fun” grower. Not commercial, and not a slum. I prefer to try my best at whatever I do and this hobby is no exception. With that said, I am very happy with my purchase. The company is great to work with. The lights are produced with quality. Like anything in life, more money can get you higher specs, but honestly, my pro 4,000 is doing a great job in my 5x5 thus far. You should give the American made company a chance for yourself

It looks like a beast! 3 month update!!
The price is very good, the coverage great. I want to buy American. Just got it hung and fired up. Definitely heavy duty cooling plate and runs cool. The coverage area is what sold me. Went to 12/12 and will see how she does. I have 2 new viper xs2000 beside it. Both have LM301b LEDs, been waiting to try them. Been using SMD281. BUY AMERICAN!!! SUPPORT YOUR CITIZENS. Completed grow and was happy with results. Had a 5x5 grow, corner and edge plants grew just as good so the coverage is legit. Price is a steal. It has a slight yellow tint which I wasn't sure of at first but no worries on plants. 6/25/25. Light is running right alongside a Spider farmer Evo for 2 grows and the Pro 400 is just as good. At today's prices, Soho is $ 130.00 cheaper. Buys a lot of nutes
