Poles are NOT Antishock Poles
The poles I received are not the antishock poles. They are the double speed-lock version with no shock absorsorber in the lower shaft. The non-antishock poles can be ordered at a lower price.

Best Poles for Winter Mountaineering
These are not anti-shock poles like the summer versions, you cannot have a speed lock on an anti shock pole, what they are, are the best trekking poles to use in winter environments. I use mine for mountaineering, skiing, both downhill & cross country/Alpine Touring & snow shoeing. They can be easily used with a glove on & the are quick to adjust. I have been using Leki Trekking Poles since 1996 when I first started leading expeditions into the mountains & will not use any other brand.
