Great gift for your partner.. pair with a nice light massage oil and have a romantic evening! It could end up being a gift for both of you :) The rocks: Large, but not Giant. Heavy, smooth, good for large muscles. 8 is a good number, this is a good deal. I would like if they weren't all the exact same shape, but honestly, they work just fine. I may get some medium/small ones simply for feet/hands - I think these are something we'll use! How to heat/use: (Disclaimer: I'm not a pro! It's just a hobby) I heated them in the crockpot, covered in water - Low setting didn't heat them enough, so I turned them on High. After about 20 minutes, take them out 2 at a time with tongs and dip them in cold water for a few seconds - til the "skin" is cool, but the "core" is still hot. If you can hold them in your hands for 3 seconds without feeling that it's too hot for you.. it's probably okay for skin. Make sure you dry them off before using on someone's skin, and use a light oil if any. There are lots of really helpful videos on YouTube, so check those out if you need tips or guidance.

I love them . They are so huge. But 1 of the stones was broken in half. Didn’t have time to return before I actually needed to used them.

Purchased this for my boyfriend for Christmas. The stones are a nice size compared to others which is a bonus. Stones also maintain heat for a fair amount of time. My only complaint is they can be hard to use with massage oil as the stones keep slipping. My hands also became very fatigued. Overall I was able to give a one hour massage. I would recommend these to purchase.

These stones have a nice weight to them. They are heavier than most. They heat nicely in a crock pot. I use them for massaging more muscular clients.

2 out of the 4 stones came broken in half.. needed these for a class I have out of state in 2 days and do not have time to return and reorder. Very disappointed.

These are wonderful for the therapist who wants to do a real Hot Stone Ritual using weight placement and heat transfer of larger muscles. They showed up intact and on time. I love them and I will be buying another set.
