Some mixed reviews but we have been very pleased so far. Looks great and stylish in cabin. No louder than other fans. Little flimsy perhaps but otherwise build quality is sturdy and fine and unit works well.

The range is exactly what I was looking for. Installation was relatively easy and straightforward. They include a template to use for the bracket holes, which made it even easier. I would recommend using gloves to install if you don't want fingerprints all over it. The cons so far: the power cord is fairly short, we had to get an extension cord for it. The installation code in the instructions packet didn't work. Other than that, the range is very nice, it looks nice and it works very well.

Installed a year ago, looks nice (black model) it kinda helps sucking vapors and smells but its not that big of help. I would say its more of a look thing than a functional thing for us - also the sound isnt overwhelming but it is annoying at high speed. DISCLAIMER: I did install it a tad higher than suggested - mainly because we have high ceelings and the extension for the simulated duct wasnt long enough

Couldn't be happier. I put it up myself. Roofers took out the old vent when replacing the roof and doesn't put it back in so this was great for that. Love how it has the filters and the light is definitely bright enough. We did out a plug in but you can straight wire it if you want to... it just comes with the plug.

The item came very quick. It is a little flimsy in the vent and if you're not super handy could be difficult to instal. Luckily mu husband is in the construction trade and was able to get it up after a few little road bumps. Once up it looks great for the price and matches the rest of our kitchen perfectly. The only glitch we had was with the lights. A connector was loose on the inside so the lights kept either turning off durning use or not working at all. After a little problem solving my husband was able to fix the issue and its been fine since. The fan works amazing but is very loud, but for the price it is to be expected. Overall if you just need something that looks nice in your kitchen but don't want to spend over $600 this is it. Great product for the price.

Just received this today. I plug it in and checked the noise level and as promised it is < 55 dB (< 5 scones). I ordered the black, it is matte and looks incredible. You cannot find a good with lower noise than this. It runs very quietly. I have posted pics of the install location in case it is helpful and will post install and final photos once installed. The column is slender and modern at 8.3 " x 7". Do NOT buy 'flat' goods, their columns to the ceiling are huge! However this Firegas model has only a 7" chimney height so it does not dominate the kitchen. THANK YOU much Firegas, this is an amazing hood.

Does not work, suction is minimal to none. Smoke only goes in the vents while directly under and then still not even. It’s flimsy. Steer clear of this one.

Have this installed for almost a year now and still works great. Never had issues

the fan is a little loud - but i mean, you're cooking and making noise and banging pots so who cares. The fan has significant movement so it pushes a lot of air. Installation was a breeze. The manual was easy to understand. It's made of strong material. The black is matte, which fits my kitchen well. the lights at the back are a bit different than what I'm used to of them being in the front. so expect the wall to be lit up quite a bit more than you'd expect.
