Necessario per collegare un portatile fornito stranamente di un poco comune ingresso DisplayPort verso un monitor con HDMI o verso un televisore esterno. Impossibile da trovare nei negozi. Funziona molto bene sia per il video che per l'audio indipendentemente dal sistema operativo usato nel portatile (linux o windows). All'inizio ne avevo ordinato da Amazon una marca meno costosa (Rankie, rivenditore esterno) ma l'oggetto non è mai arrivato (rimborso ottenuto velocemente). Il convertitore della StarTech è invece arrivato in pochi giorni ed e' risultato di ottima fattura.

It works perfectly well with on my Windows 10 with HP LP3065 screen at the full 2560x1600 resolution. It has been about a month since I started using it, no problem has been experienced so far.

Works very well when connecting a legacy Dell 3007 monitor to a new PC that lacks DVI-D. The monitor has been in use for many years and still goes strong... so no reason not to continue using it. With this adapter I resolved the issue of modern PC's not supporting older video interface standards. Kuddos for Startech for supporting us and the planet.
