Glitter Girls Dolls by Battat - Fifer 14" Posable Fashion Doll - Dolls For Girls Age 3 & Up

I like her so much, has very soft hair.

My 7-year-old daughter was requesting another American Girl Wellie Wisher doll, but specifically wanted a doll with hair she could style. I was looking for a 14" doll that would be compatible with the Wellies and I'm so glad I found these new Glitter Girls. Battat really got the look and design right with their posable Glitter Girl collection. This doll is a Christmas present, so it hasn't been opened or played with yet. Her eyes are a unique light green and the lashes are a nice touch (a little dark in color for a blonde). Her outfit comes with a lot of pieces (bow, shirt, cardigan, skirt, leggings, shoes) and seems well made with quality materials. One thing that surprised me was the darkness of her complexion. Her skin color is much darker in person than my daughters' Wellies and Disney princess dolls. It looks like she has a tan and reminds me of my Malibu Barbie from childhood. Its not a deal breaker for me since I'm mostly buying for the hair, but there is a clear difference between the Amazon photos and what I received. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and can't wait to hear what my daughters think. I really like the price compared to spending $60 on a Wellie Wisher, and will definitely be purchasing more Glitter Girls and accessories in the future. 11/15/2020 UPDATE: My daughter LOVES this doll and plays with it daily. The Glitter Girl's hair is fun to style, and still in great shape after almost 2 years. With a wired doll brush and water spray we have NOT had a problem with hair coming out. The doll is easy to dress, which prevents damage to it's clothes and allows for more independent play. The only thing missing is underwear. My daughter borrows the Wellie's underwear when dressing the doll in skirts and dresses. Underwear would be a nice addition or accessory pack in the future. Last Christmas we added the horses, stable and several outfits to our families GG collection. This year we will be getting 2 new dolls and some more outfits. I highly recommend Glitter Girls! Durable, easy to dress and reasonably priced for little kids (age 3 to 7). Fun, creative play for older girls who like to style hair, outfits and pose dolls (age 8+).

Yet another quality doll from this range that didn’t disappoint. A beautiful doll with lovely green/grey eyes and thick, luxuriously soft blonde hair! We have another one with honey brown hair and amber eyes, so unusual in a doll, as well as a paler one with blue eyes and golden pigtails. This one has a lightly tanned skin tone which some reviewers say they don’t like. Personally I prefer Fifer’s natural looking skin colour as it’s neither too dark nor too light; unlike some of the others? There’s something about Fifer in particular, that’s made her a firm favourite in our house. She looks really well made, can stand alone without being supported and has unusual green eyes with subtle grey and gold flecks, nicely framed by long, thick black eye lashes. Somehow she looks extra special and very pretty. All these dolls are just the right size for handling and dressing, unlike some of the larger, more awkward 18 inch dolls and I particularly love the diversity - I believe there is one corresponding to almost every little girl. I like the presentation box and the fact the dolls are well sealed for protection and their hair comes nicely styled. They have lots of different outfits and accessories that can be purchased separately. All the girls in our family including me, love these dolls and it’s a real bonus they are so reasonably priced. We like that we can pose them too, an addition that some of the more expensive dolls do not have. I wholly recommend these dolls for all ages, from as early as 4 years and upwards. Many adults find them very collectable. I’ve looked for them in the stores but could only find them on Amazon. They arrived on my doorstep within one day and I guess this is the convenience of online shopping? You can find all their fun accessories and clothing on here too.
