It’s better than most I have tried.
So first of all, this solidifies as a hard reline. Second, I am using this in my top partial only. If you are relining whole dentures, you will need two of these, one for top and one for bottom. The dentist had to remove my tooth that held my top partial in so I do not have a tooth to hold my denture bracket in. Third I have tried several different reline kits and so far this is my favorite. I will also add I found the best fake tooth kit as well to create a tooth on the bracket that is missing a tooth. Temp Tooth is amazing and because they give you so many beads and the tooth lasts months before it discolors, the kit has lasted me a year. But I digress, back to the reline kit. I put the whole thing in microwaved hot water until it melted and was pliable. Placed it in partial so that it was thicker in the places I needed (the left side missing the tooth) and thinner on the right. When still soft I put the denture in, got it in place and held it there for several minutes. I removed it and trimmed the excess which is the hard part. It was difficult to trim while it was still soft, easier once it hardened, but left rough spots. Once trimmed, I put the rough denture areas back into the hot water and smoothed the edges. It fits wonderfully and it’s reusable. The soft liners would thin over time until they no longer worked and wouldn’t stay connected to the denture requiring adhesive which was just a mess. Hopefully in the long term, this won’t do that, but if it does I will just pop it out and reheat it an make it all over again.

Not for me.
Awful. Softened as described, easy to push around denture. That being said the padding dries and left sharp spikes throughout after I molded it. Caused sores on both upper back. Wasn't easy removing and after several days there are still hard sharp pieces on my dentures. Never again. I'll pay the $ to get them professionally relined. The sore mouth just isnt worth it.

finally a perfect solution
I've had dentures for over 60 years so you can imagine how much bone and gum loss I've had. I'm now wearing a set that I've worn for 35 years. I was sick of the gooey paste and having to apply that or a powder touchup many, many times a day. Even though some reviews weren't great, I decided to try this. Oh boy, am I glad I did. It's so easy to use, and if you actually follow the directions, you should have no problems with it. I had too much leak over the edge on the lower which felt like it could lead to a sore spot. I simply put the denture back in the hot water (three days after first applying), it softened, I pushed with my thumb along the edge and the softened 'stuff' separated and I easily peeled it off. Both the upper and lower are tight, comfortable, and allowing me to eat without having to use paste that will for sure kill your appetite! LOL My vote is YES, this is a terrific product to reline your dentures. I'd like to also say that there is NO odor, bad taste, or burning! NONE at all!!

Well...
It did what it says it would do. Did it work for my situation?, no. It did stay on my denture and made them more snug. But, I have a very low outside edge to my upper denture. When I used this it caused my denture edge to be away from the top of my mouth/cheek, forming a gap. Which ended up being gross. All my drinks and food floated around that area. Maybe if I used two of these disks I could wrap it over the edges etc. No idea if it would work. One disk did not give alot of material to work with and I have a very small denture. Not sorry I tried it. Just not sure I'd try it again with two.

Excellent and great value.
Wow what a great product for relining your dentures. This is by far the easiest and most foolproof way to reline. I found it best to boil some water or you could use your coffeemaker to make a cupful of hot water. Then I dropped the disc into it for a minute or so and it softened it really well. I then removed it with a spoon and placed it on my denture and worked it in with my fingers. Then drop it back in the water to soften it some more and put it in your mouth but be careful it's not too hot. Once in there you should bite down or use your fingers to push it against your gums to mold it to the shape of your mouth. After 1 or 2 minutes in there you can remove it and rinse. The great thing about this is if your not happy with the outcome just drop your denture back in hot water and try again. You can do this as many times as you like to achieve the perfect result. After it hardens and you're satisfied with the result trim any excess from around the edges with a hobby knife or razor blade. This material hardens completely and feels just like your original denture. You can clean it easily and soak it overnight and the reliner will not be affected.

Problem with Disk sofe
I have been using this product for years with no problem. I like to keep one on hand for replacement. I bought my last one in June of 24. I cannot get it to soften like in the past. Have they changed the ingredients? Looking at reviews some are having same problems. I may by 1 more to see if the same problem continues. I sure hate that if so because it was very convenient.
