Amazing Now bought 3 packs of this, to change the theme of my tank 4 good sized pieces size of your hand per pack These were wrapped to within an inch of their lives (took 10 min of carful snipping each, so not getting damaged in transit) Arrived in tact nothing broken Great variety of sizes, not just twigs as some other reviews of similar products Been in the tank a couple of days and so far so good No noticeable tannins released however apparently its good for fish, so will see how that plays out Soaked them for a hour or so until they sank okish, they are fine when tied together and sank into gravel (will eventually bog down on their own in time) First set has white cotton and a plant attached, second set I found brown cotton to tie together and another plant 3rd set has some old plant attached until i decide what to attach Well worth the purchases A single piece locally to me costs as mich as a single pack from here Also an image to show how received out the pack so enjoy carefully cutting it out Idea of how it can be tied, glued or placed together V happy fish keeper Fish are already exploring it

Perfect fit for my small nanos. Really easy to use, just soak them for a day.In a bucket of tank water and then added them to the tanks a couple of erm were a bit big on the thickness side, but a bit of trimming, everything was perfect.

I ordered a bag after checking reviews on multiple such offerings on amazon Many had really bad reviews due to the items sent being basically firewood, just chunks and blocks These are absolutely fantastic and I purchased a second bag because I am doing two aquariums. Wood is genuine, needs a bit of polishing the sharp edges but absolutely perfect for the tanks Can't recommend enough For those that are raising the issue of mould, well it is actual wood. Boil it to kill any spores, dry in the oven after if you wish to use in a terrarium.

They were very sturdy, although I may have not read the advert correctly as they weee a lot smaller than I thought they would be, only around 15cm (6”) each.

they’re absolutely tiny but would definitely suit more for a tarantula enclosure over a snake , however it does provide good clutter

..Yeah pretty small pieces, I decided to use them all in my nano scape. + other bits I had, Very happy with the final look, well priced, I had no fungus or bacteria on these particular pieces of wood, and I have a no tech pond set up. But wood can be hit and miss so I’d advise to boil, or otherwise soak prior to use.

The wood provided were fantastic. 4 really interesting and decorative pieces that looked great in my aquarium. But, in my excitement to add them to the aquascape I gave them a quick rinse and tossed them in to soak and sink. 4 days later they were covered in a white aquatic mould. The item is fantastic, just don't be an idiot like me and properly prepare the wood.

I am very satisfied with my spiderwood order. They are small pieces however they are not tiny pieces. Definitely small enough for what I need them for. In one of photos you can seen a quarter as a size reference. And in another photo you can see all four pieces of spiderwood inside a vessel I plan on using for a filterless shrimp setup with plants. Plan on ordering another set (or 2) of these spiderwood soon for another project.

Ne ho comprato più di uno per allestire piccoli acquari (20-30-40L) sono risultati perfetti per lo scopo. Uno di essi l'ho usato come sostegno per una pianta in idroponica (data la forma a "ragno") per evitare i soliti cestelli di plastica. Ne sconsiglio l'acquisto per acquari di dimensioni importanti a meno di volerli usare in primo piano. Come la maggior parte dei legni, inizialmente, tendono a galleggiare consiglio di fermarli sul substrato o incollarli ad altri arredi con le apposite colle; in ogni caso dopo poco affonderanno.

Ich erhielt 4 verschieden große und wirklch schön geformte Wurzeln. Zunächst übergoss ich sie mit kochendem Wasser und ließ sie über Nacht ziehen. Am nächsten Tag wechselte ich das Wasser und konnte bereits keine Einfärbung mehr verzeichnen. Daher zogen sie an diesem Tag direkt ins Aqaurium ein. Sie hatten sich innerhalb der kurzen Zeit genug mit Wasser voll gesogen, dass sie sich problemlos einbringen ließen und nicht beschwert werden mussten. Für unsere Tiere bieten sie nicht nur eine hübsche und abwechslungsreiche Weidefläche, sondern auch Versteckmöglichkeiten. Das Aquarium nun viel natürlicher aus. Wir sind begeistert!
