A bright light for your head
This light is very functional. It has two settings, both of which are bright (LEDs are bright). I typically wear this while running at night to see and for others to see me.My only complaint is that its not super comfortable. To be fair, the strap has to hold a light and battery snug to your forehead. There's no getting around that, so its not going to lower the score.

Fantastic Headlamp, Very Bright, Comfy and Affordable
This is a fantastic headlamp. I got 2, one for my bug out/wilderness bag and one for general purpose use. I can't say how great these hand lamps are. They are very comfortable, very bright, battery efficient, and also very applicable. I use mine for working on my car or night fishing, but they really give you great light so you can use 2 hands for what you are doing. They high mode is great and can light up the night when walking through the woods. They are more than bright enough to see anything clearly within 50 feet. The low mode is still pretty bright and that may be a con for some because some people like a very dim low setting for reading maps or books but I think it's fine. Bright but not too bright. I also was very surprised how comfortable this headlamp was. It sits nicely on my head weather I am wearing a hat or not, and the strap is very soft. Despite it only being a one strap design, this sits on my head better that any two strap headlamp I've worn. These things are great and have helped me many nights in the woods.

I Use it EVERY Day!
No I don't live in a cave and I don't WEAR it 24/7, but practically every day I find a use for this. I usually have a pen-size flashlight on my desk and nightstand but going hands-free is like discovering a third arm. If something gets unplugged behind my desk and I have to get down under it, or just as bad trying to plug something in behind my huge oak chest where you can barely see the outlet. Shoes kicked under the bed or vacuuming stray cat food under the fridge, it's like it lights up areas you never realized you needed a light for before.I use it for reading in bed sometimes, the tilt function makes that ideal. And the big test last month... POWER OUTAGE during a storm. Flash floods were imminent, I wanted to gather an emergency evac. bag, get the kitty carrier ready, unplug some sensitive electronics and just plain SEE without a flashlight in my hands! Obviously a key thing in a blackout is keeping this in one place so you can find it, like any flashlight. Buy one for a friend, tell them if they haven't used it in 7 days you want it back! ;)

Legit. Buy these. Not the cheapos and not the ultra-mega-insane types. These are the right ones for outdoors, auto, home.
Damaged on delivery. Green LED never worked. Have used these fishing and camping. Real good to have a hands-free light source. Swivel is handy for lighting walking path, working hands without straining neck. Energizer lamps are the real deal in terms of durability, water-resistance/waterproofing, quality. Don't spend $3, $5 or $8 to get a piece of garbage novelty headlamp from harbor freight or a hong kong online dropship and don't spend $25-$40 for a rechargable 190-300 lumen cree XXXXXL-etc-adinfinitum. Those don't like the weather and they aren't tough. Period. Only improvement I'd make on these is the batteries require light to properly install/change, (2 down, 1 up). Good lamps in 3, 6 or 7 led configurations of this series. These are legit. You might be able to find them for a better price at Bi-mart, but these are a good buy and suitable for camping, fishing, in the crawl space or attic, under the truck, jogging, etc.

Light weight, comfortable, bright. Everything you want in a head light.
I replaced an older head light with the Energizer Pro 3 LED Headlamp. The old one used 3 AA batteries, was very bulky, weighed a ton, was uncomfortable and ate batteries like crazy. The energizer pro is everything that my old one was not. First off, it uses AAA batteries, not AA's, which reduced the weight considerably. The lamp head is light, compact and very comfortable. The light and switch housing pivot so that you can put the light exactly where you want it. Light itself is quite bright and the built-in lens does a good job focusing the beam. At a distance of 6 feet, the spot diameter is about 34", and it plenty bright for walking at night. The L:ED bulbs mean that battery life will be improved. I've used it about 20 hours and I'm still on the first set of batteries. The switch on the Energizer Pro has 3 positions. Center = off; right = white light; left = red light. The red light is useful indoors if you want to see where you're going, but don't want to kill your night vision when you turn the light off.

Very useful+reliable+bright
I wore this when I was hiking at night with my buddy. This Pro 3 LED is very bright, and uses only 2 AAA batteries, which makes it pretty light.I was worried if it would slip out of my forehead, but it turned out very comfortable to wear even with glasses. It never slipped. The light is pretty bright and shines pretty far, it was perfect to wear at night because now I had both hands in control for hiking.(before I was using a lamp and one of my hands had to be "occupied")You can adjust the angle of the light (up and down), which turned out very useful for me because I didn't have to bend my neck down to shine the floor.Red light function was great too when I didn't want it to be too bright. Red light was very useful when we hiked at full moon and we had enough moon light to walk without much difficulty. With using red light during that time was perfect because red light didn't bother my eye-sights at night.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I don't regret buying little more expensive version of Energizer headlamp because that cuts off usage-time (battery life).
