My 8 year daughter enjoyed playing this one, especially when she can play in multi-player mode.

My kid loves this game, I wish there were more good quality dinosaur games out there for kids. This is the best we’ve found to date, we’re hoping for more to come in the future!

Love this game! I’ve seen that some Lego games are download codes and some are physical copies. We received a physical copy for this game. Game play: You can play two player so I get to play with my son (4). At first you play story mode for Jurassic Park, Lost World, Jurassic Park III, and the first Jurassic World. Once you complete all the stories and start unlocking different characters and different dinosaurs you’ll go back and play free play mode for all the levels to unlock other characters and dinosaurs. There are A TON! There’s also challenges and things to complete within the parks outside of story mode and free play. There’s nothing that looks like blood or characters getting eaten violently, it’s all very kid friendly. Tt Games and Lego do a great job at making the story kid friendly even with those well known dinosaur attack scenes. The way the screen divides on two player mode is a little different to get used to at first, especially if you’ve played other Lego games. Usually the divider is straight down the middle and doesn’t move but in Lego Jurassic Park it will move around the screen from a fixed middle point depending on where your characters are. It stays split screen while the characters are away from each other and then blends to a single screen when the characters are near each other. It’s not bad it’s just different from Lego other Lego games we’ve played (Undercover and Ninjago) Overall: I bought this game for my son (4) and my nephew (8) and they both have a blast playing. Even I love it and I’m 36. The Lego line of games isn’t hard for younger kids to pick up on either even though this specific game does require some light reading at first to understand the controls. The commentary throughout the game is a mix of movie dialogue and game specific dialogue. There’s plenty to do to keep this game interested for a looooong time. The game auto saves as you play so you don’t lose your progress. There are a ton of tutorials and game play videos on YouTube if you want to see the game in action.
