I’ve always had good luck with Anker products, and this USB-C to USB adapter is no exception. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, works reliably, and hasn’t given me a single reason to question it. My only nitpick is that it’s a bit longer than I’d like. With a mouse dongle plugged in, it sticks out far enough to feel a little awkward, especially on a laptop. That said, this is less Anker’s fault and more on mouse manufacturers. It’s 2025 — the rest of the world has moved to USB-C. Dongles, please evolve. Still, it’s solid, dependable, and comes in a two-pack, which is always appreciated. Classic Anker quality.

It works but there is a tiny LED that glows and uses power even when the laptop is closed.

I originally bought these almost five years ago when I upgraded to a MacBook Air that only has USB C ports. This was a problem, because most of what I needed to connect to my laptop was USB A. I am glad I found these, because they work great (even after all these years), and they don’t have cords or take up much space. I ended up buying them two more times in subsequent years, because I find it handy to leave them attached to gadgets I use often, so I don’t have to put them on and take them off all the time. I also like to have them stored in various places for at-home use, work and travel without needing to move them around. I find Anker to be a reliable brand, and I highly recommend these!

Great for Apple products

This 2-pack of Anker adapters are very good quality. They worked for me as expected for the transfer of both power and signal to/from my phone and camera. Mechanically they appear to be very sturdy, and are a good tight fit for both the USB-C and USB-A connections. I bought them while they were on special which provided good value. Can highly recommended.

I still have old USB 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.0 cables which (with this converter) I can still use with new laptops equipped with USB C ports keeping my previous investment alive
