Essential for Watercooling
I have had two AquaComputer controllers in the past and this is the best so far. It works as a central point for controlling fans, pumps and RGB. The setup is easy and the software has so many features. I have recommended this to any friend who has done a custom watercooling loop as it is essential for getting the right temp monitoring and flow control!

Excellent piece of kit although far more expensive here than from other places
Aquacomputer is just quality products through and through they really are the best,the OCTO Controller is no different for such a small item in size compared to other fan controllers they are more powerful and reliable indeed. Along with the aqua suite software that just puts the icing on the cake. It literally tells you if your computer sneezes along with everything else. If you want hardware control and monitoring at its finest just buy this you will not be disappointed you will be more than glad you did.

A bit pricey but works as intended.
the molex could have been placed laterally instead of perpendicularly so that you can save space. till now I have connected 2 pumps and 4 fans all of which are PWM. All of them are recognised and controlled by the Aquasuite. More updates to come in the future.

Dead on Arrival.
Arrived dead, found out the hard way, after spending the time installing. You also need to buy a bunch of addons to get full use out of the device. Does not come with the RGB connectors.

The best fan controller
The Octo and it’s brethren the Quadro and Farbwerk360 are best in class. The hardware is small and reliable, but where this stuff shines is in the software. If you are at all technical, aquasuite is like a glass of ice water in the hell that is PC fan/RGB software.

For what this is, I don't know what I'm paying for the price jump is vast; There are better out there.
