Great for reading textbooks and not straining my back, love that you can write on it with expos and can fold the legs to make easier to put away when not using.

We have a 5-year-old son with mild Autism. He has trouble with fine motor skills, part of which is writing. He makes very faint marks on the paper with a pencil, so his occupational therapist uses a slant board with him when they are in session. She suggested we look for one that he could have at home and would last him a long time because he will need it to do homework. Well, I started looking for a slant board and either they were extremely expensive where we couldn't afford to make the purchase or they would be inexpensive but cheap-looking + had bad reviews. I didn't give up and finally landed with this product -- It's affordable, well-made, durable, and has made a significant difference in the way our son reads and writes. I cannot recommend this product enough! We're also thinking about purchasing a 2nd one next year for our little one (neurotypical) who will be attending Kindergarten next year and will also need one for school work. As a mom of a child with disabilities, I am grateful for products that are affordable and good quality. I definitely recommend this slant board to any parent who has concerns with their child's writing and/or simply want to help their children have a better way to do their homework. Anything that we can do for our kiddos well-being and education is worth doing. Thank you, Visual Edge! I have an 8 year son that uses this in his home school studies and we absolutely LOVE it!!! It is not only a slant board which makes writing much easier but it is also a dry erase board. We use this board on a daily basis. You can use it at a slant or lay it flat. It has a clip at the top which can hold a paper and a small shelf at the bottom that keeps his books from falling off. The small shelf at the bottom is removable and attaches via velcro. I will be purchasing another one of these for my 10 year old as they fight over the one we currently have. I highly recommend this board!!

This slant board works really well for almost all of my students, particularly those with learning challenges. It helps to take some of the strain out of visual tasks, particularly reading and writing. As a traveling tutor, I appreciate that the unit is lightweight and compact, with folding legs. The book support at the bottom can be removed, and the clip at the top is quite strong. The board is very versatile with its magnetic and whiteboard surface. My only disappointment is that the surface does not erase very well, leaving shadowing and a hint of color staining. (I am using the most highly regarded brand of markers and cleaner, which have never caused a problem for me on other whiteboard surfaces. Visual Edge, Inc. has their own recommendations for cleaning that I will try.) The erasability issue is not a deal breaker, just a moderate annoyance. Overall, the product is perfect for my needs.

This product is truly an ALL-IN-ONE product: It works as a slant board, a clipboard, a dry-erase surface, and a magnetic surface. My students LOVE using the slant boards to create (mix, fix) sight words using letter magnets. The kids enjoy having the ability to subsequently write the sight words that they create by writing the words on the SAME board instead of having to access another nearby white board surface. The built-in magnetized surface allows for magnetized dry-erase materials (pens, erasers) to be easily stored on the slant board as well, which is very convenient. The only "con" to this product is the price. It would have been wonderful if the price had been lower so I could have bought one for each of my students rather than simplying buying two for use in small instructional grouping.

Love this board! It’s big enough for me to put my Bible on to read. And for me to clip one set of notes, and the other side to put my spiral notebook to write my notes. I love it, it’s super convenient, and I love how I can add the bottom book holder or remove it. And I use it as a dry erase board too. Plus, the legs fold so easy so you can take it anywhere. Would definitely buy another.

These are the best slant boards out there! I worked for Scribble 2 Script for 6 years and these are the only slant boards we used and recommended! Now, having my own business, these are the only ones I use! The owner is great to work with as well!

I love the concept of the board. It is helping my son focus during his lessons. The legs swing and snap into a clip to stand at the slant. The first time we snapped them in, the plastic clip cracked. Now the board wiggles a good deal with any writing pressure because the one leg can no longer be secured into the clip. I am a bit disappointed due to the cost of the board that it is not as functional as it should be.
