Lacis Professional Embroidery/Tambour Frame

I was looking at other, larger frames for tambour embroidery on Etsy that are a dream but outside of my budget. This one is one of the larger ones I found on Amazon, and so far so good! It’s got a very small wobble, hardly noticeable while I’m working. It doesn’t have any features to tilt it or attach it to the end of a table for easier use, so I’ll have to get creative about setting it up for comfortable long term use.

i was a little worried to order this but it’s honestly not bad at all. it took about 15 minutes to put together. having to use the rubber bands to brace the legs to the frame is interesting lol but so far no complaints. i just hope they don’t wear out over time.

I had a friend drill holes in the side without them so I don’t have to use the C-clamps. It works so much better now and it’s even (squared) and stays that way. I like that it fits in my suitcase since I travel a lot.

Great for my pieces and good for travel

I was so looking forward to using this frame. A lot of research went into my choice. This was a refurbished purchase that just came across my path. I thought I would save some money (great for someone on a tight budget). Long way to return it. I'm afraid to purchase another one because this was not taken off the shelf when it was retuned..

Arrived on time. More than what I expected! Great material not splintered. Very easy construction! I'm teaching myself how to tambour. 😀
