Packaging came ruined
Very disappointed with the delivery package and how it arrived. Loved the product, but the packaging came all ripped, box was ruined from all the sides and the cover was torn, and i was supposed to give this as a gift! very disappointed.

We were looking for a new chess set something that would be more of a feature for our living room and came across this set on another site, it was £100 more than Amazon's seller so we got it here. Really lovely looking set, the weight of the peices is great and the movement as you play the game engages children and adults alike as it feels more alive. When it is sat on the sidetable it looks lovely and often gets positive remarks. Love it.

I was looking for a more modern looking chess set for our family. Outside of spending $800 on a Man Ray set, this was the next best option! The wood quality is outstanding and the wobble feature is whimsical and fun. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with a box for travel, for now we use the box it came in which works. Highly recommend this set!

las piezas y el tablero se ven muy bien trabajados y las piezas se sujetan con imánes al tablero, mucha gente menciona que las piezas no se sujetan completamente verticales, sí que se consigue con un poco de precisión, aunque en una partida importa poco que estén un poco inclinadas, y teniendo un gato en casa el que se mantengan en su sitio es una maravilla.

Sehr auffällig war, dass Amazon die Preise u.a. an eBay anpasst. Auf der Wunschliste wurde er mir urplötzlich für einen sehr guten Preis angezeigt. Wieso? Weil bei eBay ein Ausstellungsstück zum selben Preis angeboten wurde. Gleiches konnte ich bei Saturn, Media Markt u.a. feststellen. Gerade wenn die Samstagskracher bei Saturn angepriesen werden, kloppt sie Amazon zum selben Preis raus. Marktführer zu bleiben ist eben sehr wichtig. In dem Fall Glück für mich. Ich bekam zwar augenscheinlich auch keine Neuware, aber ein Anruf und der Artikel wurde nochmal um 20% ermäßigt. Eine Ecke der OVP war extrem eingedrückt, obwohl die Versandverpackung intakt war. Also muss es schon vorher so ausgesehen haben. Völlig egal, das Schachbrett und die Figuren sind das wichtigste und das ist alles heil geblieben. Die Figuren sind perfekt austariert, die Maserung ist sehr hübsch. Das Brett hat seine eigene handschriftliche Seriennummer. Alles in allem macht es einen edlen Eindruck, mit dem ich schon den ein oder anderen Gast beeindrucken konnte. Auch wurde es schon mehrfach bespielt. Es macht Spaß darauf zu spielen und ist jeden Cent wert.
