Spotlight Cam Battery HD Security Camera with Built Two-Way Talk and a Siren Alarm, Black, Works with Alexa

I did intense search before buying this camera. Had it installed in my backyard. The packaging, instructions and installation is perfect. The step by step installation thru app is pretty easy that even has wireless signal test. The app is very convincing and easy to manage. Whenever there is a motion, the app pings you right away and records 30 secs. footages. There is option to connect it to cloud and store there instead. The battery version doesn’t need any cabling surely. There are some features more basic then cabled version that are not necessary in my case. Having signal was my game changer to choose that cam. Light and two way communication are extra nice features. Battery might at least last 6 months if you don’t have a lot of traffic. Besides, there is a slot for secondary battery. I was worried about the sensor sensitivity yet it is configurable so it does not catch birds or cats. There is 1 sec. lag between wired and wireless version. Not an issue for me as my priority is to have siren and protective look.

Product stopped working exactly on the second anniversary of purchase. I am not sure if warranty still applies.

Amazing cam clear image and sound

The product worked well for the first 6 months. Recently, the camera stopped showing live view and recorded events had nothing but a black screen. We tried to do everything that was listed in the ring community (e.g., changing wi-fi, resetting the camera, re-installing the app).. with no success. There isn't even a way to raise such concerns The product is now down a piece of junk that sends notifications when detecting motion and something far from reliable for security and safety purpose. Would never recommend it, definitely go for Nest, seems to be more reliable
