Sent as a gift! They loved the variety and are excited to get them growing! Sent some lids for mason jars as well. This way they get to taste all the different ones and pick a favorite. Loved mine , so easy to use and grow super fast.

To me, the best thing about the variety pack is that it will allow me to taste the sprouts that I haven’t tried before. The seeds look quite fresh and just begging to be sprouted. I like the fact that each small bag can be used in my sprouter all at once or broken down to two uses. The bag containing the individual bags of seeds is a ziplock which will help keep the remaining seeds fresh. Included in the bag are some tips for successful sprouting and what to look for if you leave the seeds/sprouts too long without care. Definitely looking forward to trying some different sprouts.

Good seeds, but pricey pricey means they all germinate very well

I am new to sprouting. This assortment of 5 different seeds (2 packs of each) was what I needed. I could try different sprouts without investing in a big package only to discover that I didn't like certain ones. I have grown all 5 types and they all sprouted well. My favorite was the broccoli followed by radish. The alfalfa sprouted well and tasted OK but did not want to shed the hulls. For this reason I probably won't be sprouting alfalfa after these seeds are gone. Most of the hulls fell off the broccoli and radish. The mung bean sprouts were just OK. The "salad mix" was pretty good but I prefer individual sprouts. I am doing "soil sprouting," which is very easy and works so well that I stare at my sprouts several times/day in wonderment.

These are great sprouting seeds. I used the mung beans, and they all sprouted. I will be sprouting the other seeds soon. I can highly recommend these sprouting seeds. I am just now starting my sprout and microgreen journey, so I used a microgreens container. There is a learning curve. Since I wanted sprouts, I used the mung beans at this time and not microgreens, I gently pulled and kept them from rooting in the sieve every time I rinsed them (twice daily). The other seeds will not work in a microgreens container; they fall through the holes. I ordered two sieve lids for Mason jars, and will be using them for the remaining seed packets. Note: one mung bean seed packet was used for the sprouts pictured. Now that I know the difference between sprouts and microgreens, I am looking forward to growing both.

I see some folks complained about the value of this package. I ordered these for the first time I tried sprouting, and all the seeds sprouted quickly, with high germination rates, they were tasty, and kept nicely in the fridge. I purchased another brand, that was a larger volume of just alfalfa seeds, but they were slow to sprout, low germination rate, tasted mushy, and rotted quickly. More isn't always better. This is a great value for folks who are just starting or who want to try a nice variety of options.

Great fun for someone new to sprouting. Especially if you are busy - it's all premeasured and if you already have your big mason jar(s) and have purchased the screen lids here (I got the Ecopeaceful sprouting & storage lids which work great) then you just throw in the baggie you want to try and voila! just 2 days later you see little tails and 3 days later the jar is starting to fill up (at least for my first try on broccoli). It would be a great thing to share if there's a grandkid visiting for 3 or 4 days. I did read some people saying that you can get larger amounts of seeds less expensively but the whole point of this kit is that they make it incredibly easy to grow and to sample the most popular sprouts so you know what you want to buy in bulk if you go that way. Also, what a great gift for someone who is health-food curious! Or someone you want to point that direction. Or a kid, to get them off screens for 10 minutes a day :-) Attaching a photo so you see scale...each bag will fill one jar with sprouts and instructions included. Mason jar not included.

I literally received a household use ziplock bag filled with smaller zip-lock bags of seeds with handwritten labels. Not professional, not tamper-proof, just random and weird. Definitely NOT as advertised!

Some products are missing and the seeds I received look old , I purchased to get the broccoli seeds but not received ,

Seeds were not labelled properly and did not match the specification listed. Not recommended.
