I bought this to insulate my windows & doors. Let me just say that this is a VERY GOOD QUALITY PRODUCT!! I decided to spend the extra money & go with the 5 mm thickness & I'm VERY HAPPY WITH IT!!! The temperature in my house has gone down at least 8°F since Installing the insulation. I am very happy with the overall value. I can say it is very heat resistant because I am also using it to insulate the exhaust from one of my inside Portable AC units & with it on there, you CAN NOT FEEL ANY HEAT COMING FROM THE EXHAUST HOSE. It is pretty easy to manuver to cut to size. It actually has pretty good sound insulation considering it's not the thickest available. I also did not have any issues with using adhesive on it. I really like the material it's made out of. I highly recommend that you spend a little money NOW to SAVE A LOT, LOT, LOT MORE MONEY 💰💰💰 down the road!!!!

Great product at a readionable price. Was ptofessionally delivered on time. I used this to protect the chicks roosting area and it worked perfectly.

As an energy engineer, I wanted to make sure my home's building envelope was as closed as possible. This product worked really well for that! We stapled a layer on either side of our attic hatch cover and it stopped the flow of hot air from our uninsulated attic space completely. We also used it by stapling it to a piece of hardboard to block off the opening to our crawl space. Temps have been in the high 80s up to the 100s and we needed a quick fix. Worked really well.

Original - Not sure about that 5mm. (They rounded up.) Not sure about the full 25'. (Again, they rounded up.) Not sure that I'm sane for paying $75. (Sure seems they like to round up on everything.) Otherwise, the quality is ok, but there has to be other, more reasonable, options for a piece of 1/5" thick foil/plastic foam. Updated - Not sure what happened with my particular order, and manufacturing issues do happen, so the company reached out to help resolve my issue. It's only fair to add stars for solid customer service from a company who appears to stand behind their product and aren't in it for the short-term, profits-only game.

If your looking for a bit more insulation for your windows , bee hive’s or chicken coop this is a very good product to use before the cold sets in. Very easy to cut and shape !

Great product good for wrapping duck work in mobile homes

I full time RV on a 3 season trailer, and used this on my huge glass windows to push me through winter because my 1500 Watt space heater couldn't keep up below freezing temps, and wanted to save a bit on propane. First impressions Without this, you can feel the chill from the windows within just one foot of them. With this - you don't. So I did a simple experiment (See image) I applied two layers of this to 3 of 4 windows just to measure what one makes. My 1500 watt heater would plateau at about 78 degrees with 40 degree weather. After applying a double layer to the remaining window, there were immediate results as the temperature went from 78 to 82. Mind you - this was happening as the temperature outside was still dropping from 40 to 35. So if this makes this much of a difference with one 2'X2.5' window, I can only imagine 4. The circle on the first image represents the inside temp when this took place. The circle on the second represents that the OUTSIDE temp was declining at the same time (I'd say about 3-4 degrees or so). Conclusion - These things will pay for themselves in propane/fuel costs within days. Can't wait to test them against my Air Conditioner during hot summer days. If this helps anyone, I'll post an update with those results.

Just Excellent. I live full time in my 24’ travel trailer and needed something to protect myself and sidekick (French Bulldog) from the extremes of Canadian Winter and Summers. Helps keep cold from blowing thru the windows and reflects heat of the sun in summer. Excellent Value for the amount received for the price

I used it as an extra insulation layer under my truck camper mattress . It should make a huge difference for warmth .

Skirted my 5th wheel trailer with plywood on the outside and R12 insulation on the underside and added this product on top on the underside and as we are in Yarmouth N.S. and live in this rig we needed the underside to be impervious to freezing and it is doing an amazing job. Also have a small ceramic space heater under the rig but have seldom had to use it. Also great if you need to cover the inside windows but we have thermal windows so we don't need that. Easily installed with staple gun. Highly recommend.
