I unfortunately lost my brand new beach cruiser because I WAS NOT using a lock like this. My boyfriend so kindly got me a new bike and so I wanted to invest in a better lock. I purchased this lock and I am really happy with it. Its very sturdy and heavy duty. Its pretty heavy and makes a lot of noise which makes me happy that if someone does try to snap it they will have a hard time doing so. So far I've had this lock and my bike has not been stolen so its great!

I bought the 4 ft chain with the 0.6 4 in. disc lock for my new e-bike. This combination of chain and lock is impressive. The only way a thief is going to get at this chain and lock is if they have very heavy duty equipment so, I am confident my bike will remain safe. I especially like the heavy duty lock with dust cover and spare keys. The key design is the best and should prevent tampering with the lock. I use the chain and lock for my front tire and Aventon Level battery tube. Kudo’s for the free bike tool kit.

Im buying this just for the chain. Those locks might be fine in an average community, but bike theft is huge where i live. And i ride my bike everywhere so naturally i have a good reliable bike. Two of my bikes have been stolen with locks like these, and many other locks that are reported to be the best are no match for the thieves out here. The only lock they havent yet broken is an ABUS lock. Paired with this chain, should be unstealable

Honestly, this chain lock is just as safe and secure as the “yellow” name brand locks. It may not have some of the warranties as others but holds up well. Definitely worth the money. Note: A thief will always find a way, this lock is not a guarantee but still @ the top of a deterrent. No lock out there is 100% safe from picking or cutting.

We had some attempted mc thefts recently, at the time my bike wasn't locked up, as a result they tried to hot wire my bike even tho the fork lock was engaged and the keys got an rfid system that requires the right tag It cost me 700 to get it moved to a mechanic and get it fixed. This lock is so big and solid and visible it immediately becomes way less appetizing to idiot would be thieves. The key is complex and the whole thing weighs something around 7 or 8 lbs. The shackle is huge, chain long enough I can easily wrap it around the park structure. I wish I'd had this year's ago

It took me a few tries but this lock fits perfectly around the main tube of a Seqway Ninebot Max. The actual lock is darn near a perfect fit, so much so that it was tricky figuring out how to get the actual chain locked too. The trick seems to be fitting the lock and chain higher up on the tube and not at the base. It's a tight fit, but it was exactly what I was after. Oh yea, this thing weighs a good bit and the locking mechanism seems to be fairly consistant. Not for those loooking to save weight. My wife has a sit down scooter with basket in the back so that's where this will be going. Might be too heavy for solo rides. We will see...
