Hazet ThreadMate Mini Kit Set

I bought this, thinking I could clean up damaged bolts and nuts. There seem to be very positive reviews on these tools (which are sold in various combinations). I found them to be difficult to use (place one tiny cutting bit seated on a shaft in the nut's groove, tighten, and turn) and not very effective. There are several other technologies to repair threads. I'll have to try others.

Works awesome

Though expensive, this tool works pretty well. It won't re-thread like a tap & die set, but it does work as advertized and is great to carry along in your tool box. Read the instructions and you'll do alright.
