Hyper + Drive 6-in1 hub for iPad Air & pro I bought this for my iPad Air 2 USB ports SD card Hmi 4k port and 2 other ports. Bought this to enhance my IPad Air Easy to fit to iPad and worked first time.

Bear in mind if you have a case that blocks the attachment from connecting just grab an extender. It still does the job. I use this to connect to the big screen, connect an external hard drive and if my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse are on low battery it’s no hassle to connect it to the tablet.

if you normally sync up your pro to an imac and use idam to send to ableton or daw etc as soon as the hub is introduced to the chain mac refuses to sync anymore. tried every combination of cables /adapters etc. Id gladly take this review back if someone posts photo/video of exact set up used. but since apple themselves suggested connecting pro to audio interface then running the headphones out of that to imac id imagine waiting for a solution to be like waiting for roadworks to finish ;) so if you want to connect a usb keyboard for example to the pro to play virtual synths apps etc youre out of luck unless you have as far as i know one of 2 keyboards korg air or akai lpk 25 wireless sorry for long post i just thought people should be aware

This was a solid product that unfortunately wasn’t suitable for me as I have a fairly thick tempered glass screen protector on my iPad which, due to the lip on the device, prevented me connecting it without an additional cable. I returned the product and after paying for Royal Mail collection, the seller unexpectedly refunded this also as a good-will gesture.

It’s a good piece of kit for the iPad Pro but there’s many flaws. 1- it drains your iPads battery even when you’re not using it and it’s plugged it. 2 - mines stopped working and I contacted customer support and I have to send mines away to the US to get a replacement but they have to test it first. 3 - too expensive 4 - build quality is mediocre, the ports have visible unlined gaps, meaning it’s not aligned.

Only really using it to get images off an SD card. It does get quite hot I find, hotter with the SD card in than with a charger cable plugged in.

Great adapter, But audio out through the jack is non existent on iPad PRO 2020.

Very disappointing. Deleted ALL MY FILES from the usb I was originally using. No way to get them back and they are completely gone. Not exaggerating but it genuinely deleted very important files including word documents, pdfs and much more. Returning the day later I received it after having used it 2 times. Amazon do something !!!!

Bardzo dobrze współdziała z ipad air m2. Przetestowałem wszystkie funkcje i muszę powiedzieć, że również przewodowe słuchawki świetnie działają (mały jack w stacji) oraz przyłączane dyski hdd i ssd - działają zgodnie i dynamicznie. Wypróbowane gniazdo hdmi - świetny obraz nawet na telewizorach. Jeśli chodzi o ubytek energii, to oczywiście jest to proporcjonalne do obciążenia gniazd i wielości jednocześnie podłączonych urządzeń. W sumie produkt jest według mnie bardzo wysokiej jakości i przeznaczony do produktów Apple (doskonałe działanie).

Der Hyper - HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C Hub für iPad Pro / Air ist ein gutes Stück Technik und tut was er soll. Mit magnetischer Adapterplatte direkt am Ipad und dem darauf geklickten Drive funktioniert alles wunderbar. Laden, Daten übertragen, das Ipad-Display im Stage-Manager-Modus am externen Monitor anschließen und anschließen per Dual-Modus oder als zusätzlichen Monitor nutzen klappt 1A. Zusätzlich gibt es noch einen magnetischen Halter mit einem etwa 10 cm langen Kapel und USB C Stecker. So muss der Drive nicht immer quasi fest am Ipad installiert sein. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Ist die Gummischiene montiert, kann ich mit meinem Lade-Kabel das Ipad nicht mehr ohne das Dock laden, weil der USB-C Stecker schlicht zu kurz ist, um noch Kontakt zu bekommen. Aber das ist klagen auf hohem Niveau. Ansonsten: Daumen hoch.

Fonctionne très bien avec mon iPad Air M2 13 pouces 2024, l’adaptateur en caoutchouc permet une bonne prise sur le côté de l’appareil (à condition d’avoir un étui sur l’appareil ouvert sur les côtés, ou bien pas d’étui, et la protection en verre trempé fait que le hub n’est pas « parfaitement » aligné, sauf en insistant un peu, j’envisage de refaire une pièce adaptée en impression 3D, mais rien de grave), ça ne bouge pas, on peut insérer les câbles sur le hub déjà branché sans trop de craintes, et il ya même une rallonge fournie si vous ne pouvez pas mettre le hub directement sur la machine. Le power delivery fonctionne parfaitement, pensez à utiliser un chargeur plus puissant que 20 watts ou celui fourni avec votre appareil pour des performances optimales, mais aucune alimentation n’est requise pour faire fonctionner le hub, il s’alimentera sur l’iPad le cas échéant. Je note un problème de compatibilité avec certains câbles (câble usb c Apple 100 watts vieux de quelques années), le câble d’origine de l’iPad Air marche très bien. La sortie hdmi marche très bien, pas encore testé en 4K, mais le 1080p 60, fonctionne sans soucis, pas d’artefacts, tout va au poil. Testé un adaptateur ethernet 1000gbps, parfait. Un très bon achat, à un prix dérisoire pour un accessoire qui ne semble plus produit par la marque (c’est criminel pour un si bon produit), profitez en et prenez le tant qu’il est encore temps Update : Avec un autre câble 100w (le 333 de Anker - A8757) ça fonctionne au poil Update : la 4K (HDR !) 60hz fonctionne, testé sur un téléviseur Samsung Q60D de 2024 :)
