Q: What’s the best or most effective way to ground this bag? Also if you have smaller electronic devices should they be in separate bags inside this bag?

If you feel the need to ground the bag, you can use an alligator clip with wire attached and clip it to the top lip of the bag. If you have smaller electronic devices you can place them in separate bags if you like, but all will be shielded inside of the Revelation bag regardless. Hope this helps! -Ryan, MOS Equipment

Q: Would grounding (any) faraday cage improve the chances of its effectiveness in the event of a real incident?

My research indicates this doesn't need to be grounded. It will protect from a solar flare or an emp (which is stronger). This bag is well made, tough and large enough to hold my 1500W unit, two solar panels, laptop, cell phones with room to spare.

Anything electronic that you want to use. Those items will also need to be in an EMP shield.

Q: Does the EMP shield ever wear out?

It is well-made with strong materials. Who can know if it will EVER wear out . It is not flimsy and I've had one for about two years. I can say it hasn't torn or fallen apart or frayed and I have a lot of things in it..
