Xbox One Controller Joystick Replacement - 6PCS Original Thumbsticks Analog Thumb Sticks Parts - True Rubberized with T8 T6 Repair Screwdriver Kit for Xbox One Controller

Simple and easy to replace. Feel like original grip.

Apparently it is a pretty common issue with Xbox One controllers for the rubber to wear off or break off the ends of the two joysticks on Xbox One controllers. The joysticks are still usable when the rubberized tip comes off, but my son complained that it was harder to play. One of the joysticks on both controllers was messed up. These seem like a perfect fit and, when installed, the joysticks now work just like the originals. My son plays Xbox constantly and said they worked good as new. You do have to take apart the controller to replace these. You can watch Youtube! videos on how to do it. Replacing them is very easy EXCEPT removing two plastic covers on the controller. Those are not held on by screws but held on by plastic tabs. They take some working to get them off as you are trying to be careful not to break anything. After doing one controller, it was significantly easier to do the next. I didn't break any of the plastic tabs on either of the controllers. I was careful, but the plastic tabs must be less fragile than you would think. The kit comes with two plastic tools for removing those aforementioned plastic covers as well as the torx tool needed to remove 5 screws that have to be removed to replace the joysticks. Videos show this, but there is one screw behind a sticker under the battery compartment. I was able to do the repair using nothing but what the kit provided. This saved me money from having to buy new controllers and these joysticks really do work as good as new. Again, doing this is NOT hard, but it does take some work and patience to remove the plastic covers (to allow you to get to the screws). The tools that come with the kit make that easier. Removing the screws to get off the top cover of the controller and removing and replacing the actual joysticks is incredibly easy.

The screwdrivers it came with worked well to replace the joy sticks on my old Xbox one controller. Plastic tools managed to do the job but are a bit cheap. Quality of the joysticks seems to be the same as the original Xbox.

These have been really handy for me! My puppy got ahold of my controller and chewed up the joysticks, so these replacements have been a lifesaver! Installation was straightforward with the included screwdrivers, and the new thumbstick feels just like the original- smooth, rubbery, and responsive. It's great to have a few extra pieces, just in case of future mishaps (like puppy teething adventures).

My teething son chewed the rubber grips off the joysticks on my husbands remote. He was doubtful that these would fit/work as well as the originals. But we have no issues they fit Xbox one remote and saved the $$ of getting a new remote. Wouldn’t even be able to tell they are an after market replacement.

Good that they send a bunch of these in the box - the plastic that holds the thumb stick control within the controller is much thinner than with the originals, so these break much faster. Original thumb stick lasted me almost 2 years - none of these have lasted more than 6 months, even though my gaming habits haven’t changed. But the grip is solid, the swap is pretty easy and the tools work fine, so you get what you pay for I guess!

Las tapas son de goma suave muy parecida a las originales que vienen con los controles, y son muy aguantadoras. Apenas cambié una y la he estado usando de forma constante y no se ha desgastado nada. Lo malo del kit son los accesorios que se sienten frágiles y de mala calidad.

Es de buena calidad y trae lo necesario para cambiar el stick ya que mis cubiertas se habían roto, al ser la primera vez que desarmo un control, estaba dejando los contactos de la batería por dentro, lo tuve que volver a desarmar para dejarlos como se debe.Se sienten muy bien. Lo recomiendo ya que trae 6 piezas.

Me llego quebrada la herramienta con la que sacas los plásticos de los controles (la palita) los joystick al venir todo junto junto a las herramientas vienen un poco raspados de la goma, así que aunque sean nuevos parecen ser usados
