Brilliant--clever, challenging, and easy to learn
Invented by Robert Burroughs of Germantown, MD, in 1995, Cube Checkers is a simple but ingenious variation on the classic game of checkers. It takes five minutes to learn, but is endlessly challenging and rewarding. Each turn consists of one normal checkers move, plus a "roll-over move," in which a different checker is rolled over to increase its numerical strength by one. This adds a rich and complex layer of strategy to the game, and exponentially increases the number of directions the game can take. I love playing this game with my family because it's both highly enjoyable and really forces you to think. I strongly recommend it, for practically all age levels.
