Is this cruelty free?

CeraVe website reads not tested on animals ( 11/6/ 22 ). Looking at so many cosmetic companies, it seems like some don't do testing themselves, but have third parties do it, so they can claim cruelty free. Not sure if this is one of those companies or not. Corporations know how to confuse consumers:(

Will this product be too oily for normal skin?

No. I have oily skin and it's not too oily for me, so it definitely won't be to oily on normal skin.

Can this be used for my whole face, not just the skin around my eyes?

It’s true you could use a face cream instead, however, niacinimide is the 2nd ingredient in this cream and will really help brighten your under eyes.

does it help with dry skin around the eyes?

Hi Virginia  It's a little greasy on the first day you put it on but it definitely would be OK by the next day. It doesn't help to diminish wrinkles, though. Any otc products for under the eyes do a lot more, especially one with retinal. It really does work to exfoliate and by the next day my sometimes alligator and bumpy skin is very soft and smooth. It also works wonders on heals. It's definitely worth the price! Hope this helps! Dorothy
