This is How I Make Perfect Cup of Brodies Scottish Afternoon Tea For a black tea, such as Scottish Afternoon, bring water to a rolling boil. Always use fresh water every time you make tea. Place the tea bag your the mug or pot and pour in the boiling water. Let steep for 3 to 5 minutes and then remove the tea bag. Add a sweetener if you like. Brodies Scottish Afternoon tea can be taken plain or with milk or lemon, whichever way you prefer.

I think this may be the best of the Scottish Afternoon Teas of the different brands. Sure, it makes a great cuppa black tea any time. It’s a smooth, robust tea with great flavor. But, it makes the best ice tea I’ve ever tasted. I mix it in a large canning jar, maybe a quart size or larger, throw in 3 or 4 tea bags, and fill the container with hot tap water. Then it goes in the refrigerator and brews itself. Perfect.

These teas have a wonderful, non-bitter flavour that make for a relaxing and soothing drink. Easy to store in the tubes and the tea bags stay fresh. Have purchased these for years and will continue to do so. Brodies Tea are wonderful. There might be less expense teas on the market but it worth a little extra for quality.

Makes a great cup of tea. Very smooth. The Ceylon of this blend shines through while being balanced by the Assam and Kenyan. Brew with 8oz for stronger cup and 12 to 14oz for lighter cup. I am happy I purchased this tea. Too often we just stick with one brand that we know is tried and true to our taste and liking. I have had Yorkshire Gold, English Cuppa and PG Tips. This blend the Ceylon is noticable and overall not acidic. I leave my tea bag in the cup while I drink it. I am glad I ventured out to find a new blend to brew in my cup. NOTICE: I have also found Lifeboat Tea and Builders Tea here on amazon. I am writing this to you becuase these did not come up when I searched for British Tea or English Tea etc. etc.

The tea is nice, the package is not. Once opened I could not put the top back on as the cardboard cylinder did not hold it's shape. I like having my tea in the container it is packaged in.
