This works so well!
I feed a colony of feral cats, and in the past week, about 7 of them had runny eyes, runny noses and sneezing frequently. They weren't feeling well and not eating as much food as usual. I tried this and within 5 days, they are all recovering. I put a little bit in each bowl once a day. They didn't notice anything unusual about the food, since there is no smell or flavor to it. NOW, they aren't sneezing, their eyes are clearing, and they are feeling much better! This really works and they are so grateful!

Great product to keep on hand!
Absolutely love this product! Not only is it a great price but its so easy to use! Its odorless and tasteless so you can mix it right in with some wet food and you animals will never know! Great quality as ive been using this for a long time and wouldnt change. Its kinda gritty but if mixed well they will never know! It keeps my animals healthy all year long and gives them that immune boost they need! Helps protect against URI!(

Works great for FHV!
This is the only lysine my cat will take. I have tried gels and treats and my cat would not have any of them. She suffers from feline herpes and her flare ups make her so congested. I gave her this supplement, she ate it without any suspicion that this was in her food, and I have seen significant improvements. Definitely will keep repurchasing.

A great deal, but does not work for my cat
My cat has feline herpes and is very sneezy and snotty when he goes through flares. He gets Claritin and a lysine supplement every day, and that helps a lot. I usually use Viralys (500mg lysine dose), but wanted to try this supplement since it is cheaper and the dose is lower. Unfortunately, the twice weekly dose did not work for my cat. It's not surprising given that the Viralys is 500mg of lysisne twice a day and the NOW supplement is only 250mg of lysine twice a week. I switched to giving the NOW lysine daily, but he is still sneezing snot everywhere. I may try giving him 2 scoops a day, but it feels like a lot. Anyway, I'm glad this product works for other cats, but we will have to go back to the other supplement once this one runs out.

High quality and good value
I have a cat with feline herpes, and Lysine makes all the difference in her ability to breathe well. This bottle from Now Pet Health is a great value in comparison to the major competing brand I'd been using for years. It works just as well and lasts a little longer for a lower price. It's easy to measure with the tiny included scoop. Without lysine, my cat is congested. When she's congested, she doesn't eat. This is vital to her health. Both of my cats like the taste. I'm thankful to have found this product.

Cleared Up Goopy Eyes and Runny Nose in a Week
I bought this last year for a friend with a cat that had herpes, but she didn't want it. Recently, I took in a wounded feral cat that had been attacked by another animal. He had goopy eyes and a runny nose. I consulted the vet who treated the cat's abscess about using L-Lysine to try to clear up his eyes and nose, and the vet agreed it was worth a try and figured out the correct dosage for the cat. I have been mixing it into his wet food for a week now, and his eyes and nose have cleared up. I am posting a before and after picture of this tangerine dream of a cat. He's semi-feral and will not let me clean his eyes, but they are so much better now. The powder seems to dissolve into the wet food because he eats the wet food without any issues, so I am assuming that it's not altering the flavor of the wet food. He now looks better than ever.

This stuff works quickly, healing & desovles well!
This stuff works!!! For several days my cat (Baby) was sneezing and looked a little lethargic. As soon as I got this in the mail, I took 1/8th teaspoon of this Lysine powder into about a tbsp of purified water (I give my cats bottled water, I'm not giving them dirty water with harsh metals/chemicals in it! If you care for your pets in this way, you will avoid vet bills in the future... I wouldn't drink that water, so neither will my babies). After I combine the powder with the water, I mix it around and it desovles perfectly/quickly. Then I insert the mixture into a food grade syringe and just feed it to my cat by mouth that way. You could add it to some moist canned food, but when I use a syringe I know they will get the full dose. I only did this once a day and by day two her sneezing had stopped and she was alot better. There was another time when one of my other cats had pink eye(s) and sometimes what looked like a blister on eyelid, so I gave her some and again she was completely healed in just 2 days! Triple antibiotic also works on blisters or small lumps around the eye, but this Lysine powder works for certain as well - especially on cats with feline herpes. Look up the side effects to compare to what your pet may be going through. Lysine is good for both cats and adults, but be certain you buy the correct item for cats as seen here. I also put Collidal Silver in their large bowl of water (always keep fresh clean water out for pets)... a couple drops each time... but this Lysine is great!!

Good alternative
Bought this to replace our normal product that was on back order. It works okay, I have noticed my cat sneezes more often since switching though. It mixes well with wet cat food so it’s easy to give to our cat. The texture is good, less of a fine powder so it doesn’t create a lot of smoke. My cat doesn’t seem to mind the taste of it either which is good. Will probably switch back to our old brand since our cat was less sniffly before, but this is a good alternative.

I almost never write product reviews, especially on Amazon. So this is a testament to how well this stuff works. I have an exotic shorthair. Flat face, goopey eyes even on the best of days, trouble breathing, etc. My cat also seems to have almost no sense of smell probably because she has tiny nostrils and respiratory issues - this means she eats only one type of particularly pungent kibble, no interest in any of the 20+ different treat brands I've got her, no interest in wet food, no interest in any human food. I do not agree with the breed, she was a rescue and really is the sweetest cat ever. Her life has been difficult because of her breed specific issues. I've had her on this for around 2 weeks and the difference is astounding. I haven't had to wipe her face at all this week, very little goops (nothing she can't groom off herself), her breathing is way better, and she is taking an interest in other food and sniffing EVERYTHING. I'm shocked. I assumed this would help a bit but she really seems so much more lively and happy. She's acting like an actual cat, playing and running around (which would have tired her out way quicker before), doing cat things she hasn't done before. I've had her for 2 years and I've never seen her like this. YMMV of course, and I can't tell if the results will last long term. But I am very satisfied with this purchase. Also great value. No scoop is included but it's only a 1/8 tsp twice a week sprinkled over her food. This will last easily a year+. She hasn't turned her nose up at it yet so I don't think she notices it's there. Definitely worth a try. Especially if you have a brachycephalic cat breed (flat face).

Having spent 2K on seeing 5 vets over four months, this appears to have massively reduced my cat's drippy nose and sneezing and she can now obviously smell more, and as a result, is less of a fussy eater. The vets reached the point where they could offer no more help, other than perhaps a referral for a CT scan, etc. but as my cat was basically otherwise well, and she chooses to remain indoors, this felt unnecessary. We did agree to an anaesthetic and nasal camera, which reassured us that polyps/growths appear unlikely, so before going down that route, I would thoroughly recommend giving this a try. Within 5 days of just a teeny amount in her food, once a day, there was a massive improvement.
