The shell i got was well made, nice texture to it instead of being just hard plastic it feels soft and velvety. Much nicer to hold in my opinion. It was surprisingly easy to swap the shells over, very tedious finicky work however, the scariest part is separating the screen from the previous shell. I've also replaced the buttons and joysticks as both had stick drift. All is working perfectly and I'm very happy! I'm eyeing up the scarlet steam deck one, that'll be done next lol

Overall very nice. Good fit especially with L and R button and trigger. Surface texture is matt and pleasant to hold. Minor chips and small imperfections as to be expected from replacement shells. Came with extra screws and springs which was very useful.

Lovely case. Really soft to the touch and doesn't feel 'cheap' so to say. Had a lot of issues putting it on but that was because of the switch itself, not the case, which is why I've given it such a high rating. There were a lot of screws in my switch that I wasn't able to remove because they were stuck and drilling them out would be too dangerous (on the circuit board itself etc) so I was only able to change half the case, but now it looks like a drumstick lollipop so it's okay. I'm quite fond of the effect. All in all, the shell is lovely. It comes with tools (be careful, try and find a spare screwdriver if you can in case one of the supplied screwdrivers breaks) and lots of spare screws. (

I was worried before doing this that I would end up with a broken switch, however the process went perfectly following the helpful video on how to change the shell. The shell feels really nice, quite a soft velvety texture compared to the original more plastic feeling case. There were two very tiny chips in the shell but apart from that it is really good quality and fit perfectly. The spare screws, buttons and screwdrivers were really handy. Took about 3 hours going slowly, would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of trying it!

Dirty and marked in places looks a mess

A little fiddly to swap over but we'll worth the results. I got the black shell and paired it with a set of black buttons also from extremerate and black analogue sticks bought elsewhere.......looks great!

Shel looks great and feels soft but quality is poor. The biggest issue is the fit is poor. Power and volume buttons don't line up with the internal parts and the back button hole is much bigger that the button itself.. will just be sticking with original parts in future

Auch bei meiner Switch hat irgendwann der linke analog Stick den Geist aufgegeben und knarzende Geräusche gemacht. Nach der Reperatur beim Hersteller hat ein Vollprofi eine der weichen und billigen Schrauben rund gedreht, so dass ich den Stick nicht wechseln konnte. Dieses Set hat eine riesen Auswahl an Ersatzteilen so dass man quasi das gesamte Case auswechseln kann, inklusive aller Joysticks und Buttons. Selbst ein neues Displayglas ist im Lieferumfang enthalten sollte das Original schon zerkratzt oder beschädigt sein. Begeisterung 10/10. Das mitgelieferte Werkzeug erfüllt seinen Zweck bestens und die Qualität der Schrauben ist super, alles sitzt wie gewohnt fest. In meinem Fall habe ich nur die Rückseite gewechselt und die Einschübe für die Speicherkarte/Gamekarte wie man den Fotos entnehmen kann und was soll ich sagen, es sieht wunderbar aus und fühlt sich angenehm weich an. Das wichtigste: die Passgenauigkeit ist absolut top! Bei dem Preis war ich erst skeptisch aber es war mir das Geld absolut wert. Habe lange nach sowas gesucht aber Ersatzteile hält der tolle Hersteller wohl absichtlich dem Kunden fern damit man das Gerät für viel Geld einschicken muss. Das Auswechseln war denkbar einfach, hierzu gibt es genügend Tutorials auf YouTube zu finden. Mein Dank geht an den Verkäufer, habe mir viel Geld und Nerven gespart. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

I love this company! Best shells and good quality, I bought before the clear shell however i didn’t really like it. So i bought this white shell best choice! It’s super fun to take apart just remember to unplug battery first. Overall amazing! (should come with two screen protections & WHITE triggers)

this brand has amazing customer support and engagement. I'm not only satisfied with the product but they also take the time to read and respond to every comment on their youtube tutorial for applying the shell with an honest desire for customer satisfaction and with the goal in mind to improve their product. since I'm so nitpicky, I didn't like how the screen protector white on the bezel was slightly more of a cream than the cooler white of the shell so I mentioned this in a comment, they got back to me in half a day and offered a free black bezel screen protector as I mentioned I would have rathered. they also assured me they'll attempt to reduce the difference between the two whites in their production line. I've never had a customer-brand experience like this and its truly blown me away, hence why I'm writing this long comment. definitely recommend extremerates products
